Dr. Jill A. Silverman

Dr. Silverman is kind, smart and thoughtful. She listened to me very carefully and methodically assessed whether I had a particular auto-immune disorder. Her methods are evidence-based and clearly based on the scientific method. She's also very thorough.

Dr. Silverman was recommended to me by a friend. I have been with her for at least 3 years. She is above and beyond professionalism. She returns your calls promptly, listens intently and provides personal attention to your concerns. I have and will continue to recommend her to my family and friends.

Doctor Silverman is an excellent physician whom I highly recommend. Dr Silverman always listens and answers any questions or concerns I may have regarding medications I may be taking, and other health concerns i may have. During my appointments Dr Silverman is extremely professional and courteous. My appointments are always on time, if there is a wait time it is no more than five minutes.

I saw Dr. Silverman as a Rheumatologist. She after the initial exam, she recommended some medications. On follow-up visits I mentioned that another specialist said there could be side effects. She just rolled her eyes and said she knew what she was doing. And I got the eye rolls a few more times when asking some other questions. Well, I did have side effects, which she never caught (a MD for unrelated condition did). When I mentioned this to Dr. Silverman, she just said stop taking the drug (no apology or even follow-up questions). I have been seeing another Rheumatologist since - where the physical exams are much more thorough and the doctor spends a lot of time asking and answering questions.

Worst doctor I've ever been to. Saw me for 3 minutes and answered none of the questions I've had. Also made me wait over an hour after my appointment time after making me wait 3 weeks to schedule one in the first place. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of other doctors in New York - do yourself a favor and use a different one that respects their patients health and time.
