Dr. Jimmy C Brasfield, MD

Dr Brasfield was very honest with my husband during several visits he went to. He ordered more studies to observe the damage to both his neck & back. Very knowledgeable doctor! My husband had broken his back as a toddler & had been in a car accident later which had damaged it further. Dr Brasfield found this break he did not know he had. BC of the accident my husband had been damaged beyond repair. He never knew his neck was hurt as bad as it was except for the pain he was going through. His back was also too hurt to fix & Dr Brasfield sat him down & talked to him about his results. Dr Brasfield also let us know that he had a bad hip & knee that needed replaced which his regular Dr wouldn’t listen to him when he told them why his hip was popping & hurting him so bad!!! We really respect Dr Brasfield.

Dr. Brasfield was wonderful. He did a great job on my husbands back surgery. The lady named Joe that works for him is terrible on the other hand. She is hateful and too lazy to fill out required paperwork for your employer and insurance company.

First of all, I'm a Christian and would not lie about this! This is the truth about this doctor! I got hurt on the job due to falling and hurting my neck.The X-Rays showed I had a herniated disc in C-6 and had some nerve damage! Iwas referred to Dr. Brasfield after fighting workmans comp for months. He gave me restrictions and I lost my job over the restrictions. Well 2 years later I felt worse. I had Terrible headaches every day and neck soreness. He treated my headaches with pain medication. I have had a comp vocational worker trying to find me a job. Since my condition was worse I got a third MRI. The guy that read the report said my neck, C-6 looked worse. So the vocational comp worker went to my next doctor's visit and talked to Dr. Brasfield while I was not present! Next thing I know Dr. Brasfield was taking me off my pain meds and releasing me back to work! My situation is worse and I am totally convinced workmans comp had something to do with it! I keep telling … him my headaches have gotten worse and he acts like everything is fine! I would not go to this doctor if it's a workmans comp case! He cares more about putting you back to work and not about the pain you are going through! I have a wife and 2 year old daughter to take care of. There is so many mornings I lay in bed suffering from pain! He has not done one thing to help me. Since he talked to the vocational comp worker he has been on their side! Now I suffer every day and I'm supposed to go back to work like this! If you have been hurt due to a workmans comp injury, do not go to this doctor!

I just had a back operation. I wasn't walking to well at all, on some days. I couldn't walk at all. Spent most of my time being bed ridden. On the day of the operation I was supposed to spend up to a wk in the hospital. I got to come home on that same day. I could walk with no pain and the pain was control. He is such a caring doctor who waiting for me to wake up. I tell everyone to go and see him. Great doctor and has great doctors working with him as well.

I really respect Dr Brassfield he has been so good to me and completed my surgery on a herniated disc and all of my pain is gone I would recommend this doctor to anyone
