Dr. Marc Christopher Manix, MD

Read every review you can find before taking an appointment with Dr. Manix. You will quickly notice the similarities in complaints against this doctor. I wish I would have. If you're seeing a neurosurgeon chances are that like me, you're already struggling and Dr. Manix will only leave you feeling more disheartened (and probably a little angry). Dr. Manix had already decided he wasn't going to try to help me before he even walked in the room, and without even looking a my health questionare, family history, or neurological symptoms. Nothing I said matter, he was only going to discuss one mri covering only one area of my symptoms rather than my whole condition. I was not even given a chance to express my concern over my more serious neurological symptoms. He was unwilling do anything (including listening) other than send me to pain management, not even knowing the full history of my condition and symptoms. Well he did also offter a referral to a psychiatrist. I'm not sure how to take… that comment, I guess women are all crazy? Even worse is having a doctor walking out of the room while you're still trying to explain your why you're there. I have an autoimmune condition and have seen many specialist over the past few years. I've never experienced such poor bedside manner, lack of care, compassion, and communication. Another male doctor dismissing a female patients. Do better. Two months I waited for an appointment and waited over two hours past my appointment time to get a room.
