Dr. Jimmy Chang, MD

Dr. Jimmy Chang is the BEST doctor on this planet. His bedside manner is phenomenal and takes his patients concerns very seriously. He delivered all three of my children, and thirteen of my nieces and nephews. Unfortunately, I am sure he will retire by the time they have children of their own. If you are looking for an awesome obstetrician- gynecologist, don't pass this man up. You will NOT be disappointed. He will handle your foo-foo with care.

When we relocated states during my second pregnancy, it was a bit nerve wreaking having to look for a new OB dr. We lucked out with Dr. Chang as he was the only available Dr. at the time on need and accepted new patients. What I love the most about him is that he’s careful to listen to you but also careful and realistic to give you advise that puts your whole well-being at ease. During our daughters delivery, me and my husband were so impressed at the amount of pride he took in his work and how calming and efficient he was. We unfortunately too experienced a loss of our son three years after our daughter. Dr. Chang was very gentle at explaining the circumstances and very thorough with our options. I was far along to where I had to deliver our boy... during the process Dr. Chang was very gentle, concentrated, and almost never blanked at the delivery of our lifeless boy. He fallowed up with us numerous times, checking not only on my health but our wellbeing after the loss. He was God… sent to us for such a horrific moment. I’m now expecting a new blessing at 32 weeks now and couldn’t imagine going to anyone but Dr. Chang for the follow ups! Thankful for his dedication to his patients and the pride he takes in his work!

I have been a patient of Dr Chang since the early 90's. His office was in Jacksonville. He moved to Little Rock and I followed him, even back to NLR. I love his care, concern, patience and mannerisms. I have always recommended him to others.

I saw Dr Chang for my second pregnancy and for 5 years afterwards for other issues. He is very kind and an amazing soul. He could calm me with his manner instantly. When I was referred to have a hysterectomy I was unable to get back in with him but saw his son Dr John who is also amazing. I was elated when Dr Jimmy assisted with my surgery and follow up in the hospital. I would absolutely continue to recommend both of the Drs Chang.

I'll go to my yearly appointments now that I have Dr. Chang

Dr Chang doesn't listen. I have previously diagnosed low progesterone. He wouldn't even run a simple blood test to check my progesterone levels when I called because I got a positive home pregnancy test. I ended up miscarrying. It was difficult to get him to check even my hcg levels to confirm, then he wouldn't do the second one. Nurse told me they were dropping based on one level, one test. They were indeed dropping, but I would like to have had that confirmed. His nurse left a voicemail on my phone telling me to "take another home test on Friday and hopefully by then it'll be negative." Very insensitive to a woman who is in the middle of a miscarriage. I won't be back.

Great Doctor!! Makes you feel very comfortable. I had an in office "procedure" done, that was very painful, and he was absolutely amazing!!!

Dr Chang was the most amazing doctor to deliver my baby! I was a first time mom and he knew that a vaginal delivery was important to me. During delivery he remained calm and confident. He is very sweet and will answer any questions you have during your pregnancy.
