Unfortunately my experienced and very understanding allergist has retired, to be replaced by Dr. Chang. The previous provider understood that not all patients are the same, and not all treatments work equally well for everyone. Dr. Chang insists that they do unless proven otherwise, which includes stopping effective but non-standard treatments to demonstrate negative health effects. I was a much healthier and happier person before Dr. Chang took over as my allergist, and am now seeking an allergist who views patients not only as individuals, but as people with lives that don't need to be disrupted by preventable illness.
