Dr. Tantisira is a very thoughtful surgeon, took as much time as I needed to explain my complicated eye conditions and options to treat them. Dr. Tantisira proceeds with caution & is very meticulous to achieve the best outcome possible. After four years of very little vision due to an injury my surgeries turned out better than I had hoped for because of the degree of excellence Dr. Tantisira practices. I highly recommend Dr. Tantisira, he is the best.

Dr. Tantisira and the staff at the Aloha Eye Clinic treated me as if I were family and attended to all my eye care needs and concerns. The technicians there were very knowledgeable and competent. Dr. Tantisira explained my eye condition in a clear, understandable way that assured me I came to the right place for my eye problem.

Dr. Tantisira and the Aloha Eye Center is a wonderful example of ALOHA. The word "aloha" in Hawaiian means "caring, working togethe, calm, patient, humble or as we put it in the islands, ALOHA means LOVE."1) At my initial consultation with him, he immediately put me at ease by reassuring me that he will take good care of me and my eyesight will improve. He made me feel like I was his only patient and the fears I had were put to rest.2) His staff at the clinic had me undergo numerous eye checks and explained what each drop was would do to my eye and what information the procedure would extract3) From the time I entered into the clinic until I left, the staff were very warm, friendly, answered all my questions, escorted me to each room (I was literally blind) set my next appointment based on my availablility4) Dr. Tantisira used a model "eye ball" to explain the entire situation with my eye, the surgery, the insertion of a lense (of my choosing) and the regaining of my eyesight.5) At… the surgical center, the registration process was clearly explained and all questions answered in a clear and understanding manner.6) The day of surgery, the staff did their utmost to assure my comfort before, during and after the procedure.7) During the surgery I was able to talk to Dr. Tantisira and he would explain what was going on, which again helped to comfort me once again during the procedure.8) I have spoken to many of my colleagues across the state of Hawaii about Dr. Tantisira and have highly recommended him to them.9) Dr. Tantisira established and garnered my trust within the first few moments of our first meeting.Communication with aloha is enriching for us all.
