Dr. Jo-Hsin Chen, DO

Dr. Chen is an exceptional doctor: on time, extremely caring and concerned about my problems, willingly spoke to my family. I had said I would not ever have a different doctor, but then I had to move. I will miss her very much. Although I believe the doctor I am going to see that is close to my new home is good, there will never be another Dr. Chen, who is outstanding. I miss her and her care very much.

Dr. Chen is a great doctor. I went from having 6 to 7 migraines a week to having no more than than 6 migraines a month! I saw three doctors before going to see her without any relief. She is very understanding and will come up with a strategy that works a for you. She also has a good beside manor. I highly recommend Dr. Chen!

First visit with horrible headache I was seen right away she asked me several questions and reviewed my medications and migraine history and did a neuro assessment. I told her I was in the ED and had a CT she asked me the results I told her normal she never asked to see them and I told her I was allergic to imatrex she prescribed a medication in that family anyway I had a horrible reaction like I did with the other med. I called her office to let her know she never calls you the office staff calls to relay her messages. I went to the ER again on a Sat 12/8 the ER doc recommended a MRI of my head & face Dr Chen referred to the previous ER note and did not call me directly and speak to me so I could inform her that my most recent ER visit it was recommended by the ER doc that I get a MRI of head & face. Dr Chen said it was an Ent issue did not call to speak to me the patient so no MRI, so I’ll have to go to my PCP and get a order. Waste of money and time. She is a horrible provider and… needless to say I will not be back and will be canceling my follow up appointment.

Wouldn't let me speak, rushing through appt, and nasty. Don't go here unless you want to go home and cry... pathetic

Excellent doctor! She listens, never rushes. Very thorough and has helped me with every neurological issue.

I received Botox from Dr. Chen last week. She left my forehead lumpy, my eyebrow super pointy and really uneven. I have stretch lines on the sides of my eyes where my eye brows are pulling and it’s painful. When I try to look up, I can see skin from from under my eyebrow. My friends and family are making fun of me because I look ridiculous. I went back to Dr. Chen to see if she could fix it. She said she could not and that she didn’t know how. She said to just wait the 3 months for the Botox to wear off. That’s my entire summer. I decided to go to a plastic surgeon who said she could fix it but also stated that Dr. Chen simply didn’t know what she was doing and shouldn’t be injecting patients. The plastic surgeon is charging me $500 to fix Dr. Chen’s mistake.

Love her. She listens and is very friendly. Great doctor. I'd suggest this doctor to everyone.
