For a psychiatrist it is alarming how unresponsive she is. Doesn’t return phone calls and arranged no coverage when away. Seems to be very out of date, both professionally and administratively. Gets defensive when asked questions, and responds inappropriately harshly. Not helpful to people in a delicate state of mind.

No timely follow-up, even when admitted to hospital. Exacerbated the issues rather than focusing them. Cannot recommend

Dr. Filler listens, relates and helps. She is unbelievably patient and has provided me with the real-world tools to bring myself out of major depression and anxiety. If you can get an appointment, I endorse Dr. Filler fervently.

I originally went to her for help with anxiety problems stemming from a tough school load and overbearing parents. All i wanted was to quell these irrational fears. Given my prior diagnosis which was mislabeled she refused over the course of several sessions to proscribe me any medicine to help alleviate these symptoms. Finally, once I had overcome my anxiety via exercise and experience (things she didn't suggest) she then recommended that my newfound enthusiasm meant that I need to take more Depakote (an awful drug for people that could be label hypo maniac by those that dent know any better. There are many valid options out there for people in need of help. This women also comes from a biased perspective given that her two children suffer from extreme manic and depressive episode that inevitably cloud her judgement. Bottom line, she is a nice women but quite ignorant and prejudiced. Look elsewhere for help

She is absolutely the best. Works alone without staff so it takes some getting used to but worth it. Changed my life. One of the best doctors I have ever had.

Takes poor notes; can't remember what she's said from one visit to another. Impossible to schedule appointments because no staff, phone answering service or email.
