Dr. Joan Mccarthy is the absolute best! There aren't enough words to describe how amazing she us at what she does. I'm new to the Tampa Bay area and I looked for an OBGYN for months before making an appointment with Dr. McCarthy. She put me at ease from the time I stepped in the exam room. This is by far the easiest annual pap smear I've ever had with anyone!

Dr. Joan M. McCarthy, MD She s THE BEst doctor . I had my abdominal hysterectomy on may7, 2013. Made surgery a not so scary experience. Everything went VERY GOOD! I've never met a better doctor! Dr SHE S THE ONE !!!! GOD Bless HER !!!!I wish all doctors were more like her :) If you r looking for A new doctor, she s the Number 1. Hope you will have same excellent experiment as I had . :)))))))

She is an amazingly kind DR. She knew right away what the problem was, and though she couldn't treat my pelvic pain, she knew who could and immediately referred me to the right specialist. This wouldn't be so amazing, but I had seen multiple Dr's in the previous 5 years and no one had any real idea how to help me. I recommend her highly.

I've never met a better doctor! Dr. McCarthy CARES which is so rare in medicine today. She always has time to thoroughly explain issues and answer all questions. My surgery was an easy process and I spoke with her personally afterwards and later on the phone. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased. I wish all doctors were more like her. :)
