Dr. Joann Hwajin Yi, MD

Dr. Yi is an excellent doctor who listens and is so sweet and always goes the extra mile to assure you get the best care. My husband and I have gone to her for years and we love her efficient assistant Sharia who always takes time to make you feel welcome. Her front desk ladies also always on the ball. Definitely a top notch experience with Dr. Yi!

What best describes an EXCELLENT DOCTOR? Listens to your input, analysis your records and input, professional, Intelligent, excellent education, most importantly one you would recommend your family to! Having been in the professional field as an executive, I give credit where credit is due...,Dr Yi , my opinion is EXCELLENT!.

Dr. Yi came recommended by another doctor. She seemed competent, but there must have been issues with the office staff. After the initial office visit, Dr, Yi wanted to schedule a complete physical. Office staff scheduled, and gave me a printout. When I arrived on time on the day scheduled, I was told by the doctor, that the appointment was NOT for my physical but was only a follow-up. So we rescheduled the annual physical. From that point forward, my appointments were cancelled and rescheduled at least five times. Additionally, I complained about muscle pain and weakness, and doctor kept insisting it was "probably the Crestor." I finally demanded that she see me, and it was only because her medical assistant observed me trying to get up and out of the chair (and was shocked) that the doctor finally conceded that I needed blood tests. Needless to say, I have moved on and I am seeing another PCP and while I am at it, yes there was and is something major wrong with me and now have a… battery of doctors. I could have suffered far less time had Dr. Yi taken the time and care and respect to treat me well and listen to my complaints. Quicker diagnosis would also have happened if she had not cancelled several appointments.

I am a 72 year old, researched, informed patient. Dr Yi is the most informed, and caring doctor I have ever had. She is so respectful, interested and caring . I feel so blessed to have her as my primary physician.

Dr Yi in my opinion...is the best of the best, in my opinion. From my professional Executive background, going to many doctors in the past...I would recommend her to my family and anyone that is interested in a doctor that is well rounded and intelligent and most importantly the best of the best!
