Everything was going fine. I needed a lumbar fusion due to my consistent back/leg pain. I followed all of her requirements (which took 2 months), my wife took 2 weeks off from work and we found someone to take care of our daughter. The important part was I needed approval from my cardiologist due to a heart attack 2 years prior. The cardiologist gave it with caveats such as stopping aspirin 5 days prior. On the day of the surgery, I had done everything as required (EVERYTHING). I had the IV and was ready to head into the operating room. Then Dr. Whiting explained to me she wasn't going to do the surgery because she was worried about my heart. AND YOU COULDN'T HAVE TOLD ME THAT EARLIER?? REALLY??? So I don't care what her operating skills are like, to do that to a patient, she deserves a 1 out of 5 rating.

Because of Dr Whiting I am no longer suffering with back issues and severe back pain. I have had 4 operations on my right L4 and L5 and was still in a lot of pain. Dr Whiting had to operate on a severe L4 ruptured of the disc which had to be fused. As of today 6 weeks after the surgery I no longer suffer issues or paid on the right or left side of my back. Dr, Whiting thank you for your kindness and your aming surgical skills. You have been truly blessed.

My husband and I both had surgeries with Dr. Whiting. Of course, different years. Dr. Whiting is such a compassionate doctor who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She is detailed and honest and explains everything from surgery time to recovering time. She always greets you with her big smile and just makes you feel that you have chosen the best doctor. The office staff is incredibly patient and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Whiting without reservations.

Dr. Whiting is an absolutely WONDERFUL neurosurgeon!! She is incredibly talented and has great bedside manners. She had to do an emergency surgery for my husband and we really couldn’t have been in better hands. She was clear and concise in her explanations and we felt very reassured along the way. The surgery was a success and my husband recovered very quickly. Dr. Whiting and her entire team are truly outstanding! We feel very fortunate to have had such an extraordinary physician as part of my husband’s care. Thank you Dr. Whiting!!

I was in pain and needed to see a doctor urgently. All the other specialist I contacted had a 4 to 6 weeks lead time. Dr. Whiting accepted to see me within 3 days from my call. I arrived on time at my appointment and waited only 5 minutes before being taken in. After the preliminary tests and check list performed by an assistant, I met with Dr. Whiting. Her review of my case and her detailed explanation were very clear and I felt like I was important, not like another patient she needed to quickly discard because she had many more patients waiting. I met with 2 other specialists to have a different opinion, and I wile definitely stay with Dr. Whiting.

EXtraordinary surgeon that fixed me ACDF procedure perfrmed nearly a year ago an I am perfect

Dr.Whithing is an extraordinary Neurosurgeon. After over four months of excruciating pain and having gone thru three epidural injections, orthopedist, physiotherapy, chiropractic, and another neurosurgeon, she diagnosed my case in the first visit and recommended surgery: Anterior Cervical Discectomy and two Fusions. The Procedure was carried out on Friday Oct 10 and I was back home on Oct 12. My pain disappeared right after the surgery and I am feeling great. Dr Whithing was always very professional and sensitive with my wife and I. I totally recommend her to anyone!

Surgeon was excellent pre surgery in thoroughly explaining the procedure, as well as the intended outcome and risks associated. Surgery was performed 9 months after battling with a compressed nerve caused by a herniated disc. The effect of the surgery was immediate, drastically decreasing the pain. Now, 7 weeks later I am back to most normal activities and my worse day now beats my best day prior to surgery.

1 herniated discs and spinal stenosis in lumbar, a herniated disk and protruding disk in thoracic and osteophytes at multiple levels. Pain and spasms occupy 100% of my day. Must be a figment of my imagination or possibly that I have Medicaid. I tried to schedule an appt in their Kissimmee location, but was told that only that Whiting all the way in Orlando would see me because of insurance accepted. My blood pressure was high after having to have driven myself there and waited in an uncomfortable office chair. She was already telling me to get a 2nd opinion in her second sentence spoken to me. She has only been with orlando group for 3 months.

Had a fractured spine, fit the doctors specialty. She actually advised againstsurgery. I'm glad she did that and am still surprised.
