Dr. Jocelyn B Dunham, MD

I have been going to Dr. Dunham for 20 years or so now. She has always had my best interests at hand. She’s always been good to me. She always provided me premium care. I think she’s great.

I have been Dr Durham's patient for 16 years and her broad range of knowledge is incredible. This is more than required continuing education that all doctors comply with. As I age my, body changes and she researches the latest discoveries that she can recommend to my specialists . The Oncologist that I see for hemocromotosis followed her recommendation and it has increased my energy and the quality of my life, and without compromising my illness. Dr Dunham's persistence at getting to the bottom of recently rising high blood pressure took me to another sleep study and found out my CPAP pressure was low and that I now sleep with extensive leg movement. Running a marathon at night when you are supposed to be sleeping, does not make for a good night's sleep. Consequently, a new recommendation to my oncologist for a higher ferritin base line will further my active life style by staying active. I praise her not only for the major changes, but for even the simplest of watching a… YouTube clip that showed the 5 second fix to my CPAP machine and to rolling a ball therapy to stretch my ligaments for a foot injury. Dr. Dunham is my managing doctor that oversees all of my specialist decisions, oncology, urology, gastro, surgeon. She is my personal advocate and one I wouldn't be without.

I changed my PCP to Dr. Dunham is the whole package for me, and I am so glad I did. I highly recommend her anyone who truly wants a knowledgable, caring really donw to earth Dr.

DR. DUNHAM AND HER STAFF ARE THE BEST, COURTEOUS, CARING, MAKES YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE DURING APPOINTMENT, EXPLAINS THINGS AND TAKES TIME WITH YOU AND ALSO TO DO RESEARCH. HAVE GONE TO HER FOR 15+ YEARS.

My family have been patients of Dr. Dunham's for 16 years. She is wonderful and I trust her. She is very intelligent, but does not look down on you. She treats you like family.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had an appointment at 1:40PM and as a new patient, I came in at 1:25PM to process the paperwork that I completed ahead of time. When I walked in I stood at the front desk for a couple of minutes without any type of greeting until the receptionist finally looked up and said "yes?". I stated that I was there for my 1:40 PM appointment and she snapped, "No, your appointment was at 1:20 PM. I told her that I had put it in my calendar, and when offered the 1:20 or 1:40 appointment times, I had chosen the latter. She continues to argue with me and went to get a file that they had documented my appointment time. At this point I said, unfortunately there must have been a miscommunication, and asked what we could do at this point. She snapped at me again and told me she would go talk to the Doctor. After 10 minutes of waiting, she returned to the front desk and said, " the Doctor said nope". At no point did she try to reschedule or give any other options.… I left the office and let her know that I would not be rescheduling. I work in the healthcare industry and have never been treated like this, nor have I ever treated someone else like this. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of customer service, let alone general manners of the staff at this office. This was a horrible experience and a waste of my time ( I had taken the afternoon off to attend this appointment). I understand the need for punctuality, however, miscommunications happen sometimes. There are certainly better ways to handle it than what I experienced.

I love Dr. Dunham! She is a talented doctor, always great results with her. She is wonderful, no complaints what so ever. Some of the people that work under her however, have been extremely rude and unprofessional. Joann (How ever you spell her name) that works at the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. In customer service, answering phones, etc, it should be a warm experience. They are the first people we see walking through the door and also represent the company along with representing Dr. Dunham. Betty is a sweetheart, along with few others I've come in to contact with. As far as the others, they will be the reason they no longer receive my business or my family's.

Was very unimpressed with this so called doctor from the minute she walked into the examination room. Very abrupt and uncaring. It seems to me if you are not a "poster child" of health, she doesn't have time for you. Pathetic excuse for a person, much less a doctor!

As a new patient, I have found Dr. Dunham to be nothing short of absolutely professional. Though everyone is entitled to their opinion, I wonder if some of those so outspoken against this physician are angry because they didn't get their way. Physicians are obligated to "do no harm" and sometimes that includes telling the patient "no". A successful relationship with any healthcare provider involves mutual respect. The adage "you can't always get what you want...but you get what you need" often applies. I don't need a "yes" man; I need a physician willing to work with me in the trenches to get the job done. That being said, Dr. Dunham will work with you, but she won't do all the work for you. She encourages patient accountability and responsibility. Dr. Dunham and her staff have always been cordial. The office environment is functional, not fluffy. I have not encountered any difficulty in securing an appointment in a timely manner. This physician works in collaboration… with me to treat illness and promote well being. She values my input and answers my questions. I am relayed my test results promptly and with thorough explanation. She often answers confidential emails outside of office hours. There are no drug samples available in her office and I like that because she is guided by what is best for the patient rather than what's the newest fad pushed by the drug reps. Courteous, conscientious, thorough. I have what I need in a physician and she's a keeper.
