Doctor Wittstein did surgery to repair my rotator cuff in both arms. She is very knowledgeable, professional and most importantly a kind person who spend the time to explain everything. I would not go to any other orthopedic surgeon for shoulder problems.

As an overactive retiree with multiple injuries to my joints in recent years I have been lucky that Dr. Wittstein has been my orthopedist. She has been careful, considerate and forthright in dealing effectively with my painful issues.

My 12 year old son was able to see Dr. Wittstein within a day of his injury. Not only did she correctly diagnose him and recommend appropriate treatment, but she honestly cared about his well being. She followed up with me constantly. She reminded me when he needed a follow up Xray. She truly is MD who embodies CARING for her patients.

Dr. Wittstein is an excellent surgeon. She was able to repair my husband's extensive shoulder injury and he was back to work (after some PT) in a few months. He was able to regain full function thanks to her expertise. She took the time to answer all our questions and checked in on him after he returned home. I saw Dr. Wittstein twice: once for shoulder pain and once for a hamstring tear. In both cases, this was prior to pending military training that I knew was going to be putting pressure on those injuries. It has since become clear that her diagnosis were accurate and her recommended treatment (opposing muscle training for shoulder, injection for hamstring) was effective. Beyond that, she was to the point, personable, able to explain her conclusions very well and walk me through my own responsibilities for treatment comprehensively and at a level I could follow. Very highly recommended.

Dr. Wittstein has been the surgeon for both of my daughter's ACL tears. We could have taken them anywhere for their repairs, but after thorough research and consultations we chose Dr,. Wittstein and have not been disappointed in any aspect of their care - she is extremely qualified, talented, up to date and proficient with current research, but most importantly is compassionate and truly concerned about them as people. She has always been there for us with each subsequent in injury with immediate attention, compassion and care.

I had such a terrific experience as a patient of Dr. Wittstein. I needed only to tell her my story about the increased pain I was feeling when running and she quickly determined the diagnosis prior to the x-ray confirmation.
