Dr. Jodi Christine Ferro, MD

I went to see Dr. Ferro for my annual woman visit. While she was examining me we spoke about Peri menopause and the sysmptoms I was experiencing. When I received my bill, she charged me for my well woman visit. She then preceded to charge me for an entirely separate visit at almost double the cost of my covered visit because my asking about my symptoms was outside of the realm of my covered visit. I honestly had no idea I wasn’t allowed to ask questions related to menopause. I naturally assumed since it part of the aging process that it was up for discussion. I honestly felt so violated and taken advantage of. Not once during the visit did she acknowledge that our conversation was going to be billed as a separate visit. When I called to question the bill they made me feel like I should have known and treated me like I was trying to be sneaky and seek extra services for free. They took no responsibility for their lack of notifying the patient that extra services were being… provided. I called back with a healthcare advocate on the line. We were given the run around that a manager was unavailable and I never received a call back. It wan such a disgusting experience, I could never recommend this doctor or her office to anyone.

I recently relocated to California and hopeful that I would find a good doctor since I left a great one in Las Vegas. Dr Ferro far exceeded my expectations. She spent time getting to know my issues and concerns and even gave some great advice on local bike paths.

Office staff is terrible about having the doctor return calls. Call 2 days in a row with a concern and question for the doctor and I never got a call back!

Dr. Ferro managed my complicated pregnancy and delivered my baby, and she did an excellent job. She is caring, kind, and very approachable.

Had a great experience and will be going back for years to come.

Dr Ferro was great and so was her staff at the Oxnard office.

It was a very short wait. Dr. Ferro was very nice, but the staff wasn't very nice.

She was nice and professional, but she didnt spend time with us, I had to stop her to ask her questions when she was walking out and I even didnt know she was done.... the nurse was very good, but the front desk are always always unhappy and rude, no matter how friendly you are, they are still the same, especially on the phone, they never say goodbye to you, just hang up before you..
