Will never go back there. Had the procedure done by another doctor and it was painless.

I saw this physician while she was on call at the hospital. She was rude and condescending. She disregarded my pain level during contactions and told me not to stop my life for them (while being just shy of 38 weeks gestation). I would rather deliver at home then let this doctor touch me.

Was patient couple years ago. Emily the receptionist is just mean person! CEO screams at his staff, and at people on the phone. Everything is all about billing. Brittany Frisela Is a joke. I waited 20 minutes in the office as she stood on the door and joked and talked about starbucks with staff members. When she finally came in she was just telling me about how a baby will ruin my body give me black lines and strechmarks.... nobody asked her anything nor was it a concern of mine.... I called towards end of pregnancy because I had very itchy palms of hands and feet it lasted days I couldn't do anything to helP it. Called the office to let them know. My belly was also shrinking the last 3 weeks of pregnancy and everyone said it's fine it was not a problem, and my vitals were fine. They said my itching might be just dry skin. Didn't test urin because they felt that it was not necessary. And went to labor with the end because I measured way too small and found my placenta had dried.… Baby was not getting nutrition at all because it dried so much it shrunk... changed doctors never ever referring this place to anybody. Awful staff awful care. They all gossip too like kids and talk about other patients. Over heard doctor and Emily saying a patient had a infection from c cection scar because she is so fat!

I would not recommend Dr. Holbrook to my worst enemy. At 24 weeks I saw her for the first time. I had been previously seeing the nurse practitioner which is perfectly fine because that's how most places do it, and she was a very nice person. When Holbrook walked into the room she did not even introduce herself. She was extremely rude to me, and by the end of the appointment I was hysterically crying. I was trying to tell her my conditions and she was basically calling me a liar about how I was feeling. The to top it off she didn't give me any advice on what I should be doing. She is definitely not the doctor that will be delivering my child. I feel so uncomfortable with her and she strikes me as the kind of person that would make you suffer in labor if you said something she doesn't like. I also heard from nurses that she talks about her patients to other office staff a lot and to me that is just way to unprofessional. I am not a sensitive person so if she had me feeling that way then… that's a problem. AVOID HER!

I like Dr. Holbrook, it's her staff that I don't care for. I always end up seeing a nurse practitioner. Their billing woman is awful and rude. The front desk staff is also quite rude. The practitioner misdiagnosed me repeatedly through my pregnancy. I was unaware of a small balance, and sent to collections after years with them. Sadly, I won't be going back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Holbrook for over 20 years and consider her one of the best physicians I have. She is very knowledgeable and up to date on procedures. I wouldn't judge a doctor's competence by their office staff. However, if I did have a problem with the staff I would certainly report this to Dr. Holbrook. Also, very few Dr's meet with you prior to an exam but she does. She is one of the best gynecologist/OB's in the Rockford area. I hope she never retires!!!

I have been going to Dr. Holbrook for over 16 years. She is not judgmental and she does tell it like it is. I have never had a problem with the staff they have always been very good to me. My daughter had her till her insurance changed and she loved her. The baby had to be taken in an emergency C section and Dr. Holbrook was wonderful.

Dr. Holbrook has a nice bedside manner. Too bad she's so good she accepts hardly any insurance plans... I had to switch after seeing her for 10 years because of that.
