Dr. Jody Lynn Kelly, MD

Hopefully Dr. KELLY and her staff are better than most of the reviews. My granddaughter will be seeing Dr.Kelly, it's my granddaughter 1st pregnancy, we are excited. Let's hope for the best from and for all.

Dr. Jody Kelly is a business owner first and foremost. She absolutely cares more about her bottom line than the care for her patients. Furthermore, if you're pregnant, they're going to gladly accept you as a patient (because you're going to be a good paycheck). The support staff there (nurses and office staff--with the exception of the referral scheduler, she is fantastic and friendly) is rude, snarky, and lack knowledge to do their jobs appropriately. But beware, when you are no longer having children, they will not offer you appropriate care-nor will they listen/schedule time to see you, when you have issues postpartum. My GP had to resolve issues for me that this office swept under the rug. Additionally, when you realize this office is done with YOU and it is time to move on to an office that will care for you beyond your child-baring years, they will assess a fee to transfer your medical records (in all my adult life, I have never, ever had to pay to transfer my records when… transferring care)--which goes to the point of this place is all about money, money, money.

Today I received my reminder call about my appointment tomorrow. I told the nurse I had to cancel and she wanted to know WHY. Are you kidding me??? Does the nurse really need to know why or was she just being nasty??? Im kicking around the idea of finding another doctor just because of a snippy nurse. Ive been coming here for 20 years but Im thinking a change may be in order.

Waited 45 minutes in exam room. Never saw physician. Left office

I was on Bedrest my appointments were average 3 hours never saw dr Kelly said was deleverjng which I heard from her staff Allison was a lie. The wait times were ridiculous and the staff was cold go to dr couri she is wonderful!

I just had my first visit w/ Dr. Kelly. She was easy to talk to, listened to me, never rushed me and and when done with one answer, she would ask if i had anything else i needed to talk to her about. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews here. She was a breath of fresh air for me. Would have given 5 stars but i felt the office staff could have ben friendler.

Dr. Kelly and Assoc. delivered my first and only miracle baby. Love Knoxville and Proctor offices, love the staff, very professional, caring and prompt sevices every time.

Horrible experience. Our wait time was 3+ hours for over half of our appts, & never less than 45 minutes for any appt. We only actually got to see dr kelly 1 time for about 1 minute in all of our pre-birth appts, usually getting the excuse that she was out of the office for delivery. Also, our child was stuck in the birth canal for almost 4 hours before she showed up. We should have known it would be a 3+ hour wait for the birth too. After our horrible experience, we've noticed it's pretty common for her pts to be very dissatisfied & never have another baby with her again. We will be going elsewhere for our next.

Would not recommend had dnc surgery still in pain 4 months later they claim not from surgery never had problems before had to wait forever for aftercare cosoltation which sent me to hospital and other docs they question me about the pain like i am lying the only lady there i would recommend is michelle she seems like she cares so if you need a professional take your pregnancies elsewhere to bad i have to go to a new doc to find out whats wrong caring their not
