Good diagnoses with fast and correct treatment . Highly recommended.

The doctor was very friendly but either very undereducated or embarrassed that I corrected him. He claimed that bacterial conjunctivitis is extremely uncommon and that a person cannot get pink eye from a dog because it is a virus. He said my wife just had an eye irritation and should use prescribed steroid drops. Despite this the nurse gave a printout about pink eye (conjunctivitis). WebMD and many dog sites stated that bacterial conjunctivitis is the common form (opposite of what Dr. Huong said) so I asked our pharmacist if the medicine made sense. She confirmed WebMD and said that the prescribed drops are antibiotic with a steroid base. Clearly Dr. Huong should not be prescribing antibiotics if he thinks there is not a bacterial infection -- this makes me think he was embarrassed that I corrected his mistake and chose to misinform us rather than admit he had misspoken. I don't care that he said something wrong but it is very bad that he would not admit it and willingly deceive… us further. The alternative explanation is that he didn't think he made a mistake and yet still prescribed antibiotics while telling us they are steroids. I honestly don't know which is worse but I don't plan on making a return visit with this doctor.
