Summary

Dr. Hamdan is a cancer and blood disease doctor in Frankfort who cares for adults with many types of cancer. His care focuses on patient education, family involvement and treatment planning for cancers such as breast, lung, prostate and gastrointestinal cancer.I grew up wanting to help people, and later moved into oncology because every person's cancer is different. I see my role as both doctor and teacher. I want patients and families to understand what to expect, what each treatment is meant to do and how we will work together. I also value involving loved ones when patients want that support, because cancer treatment is rarely something a person faces alone. I earned my medical education at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago/Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center, and completed a fellowship at Midwestern University/Franciscan St. James Health. My clinical focus includes oncology and hematology, including care for breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer and gastrointestinal cancers, as well as blood disease care.Publications:1. Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
