Dr. Joel Anthis Anthis, MD

I had an unusual symptom in my left ear. Dr. Anthis took great time with me, asking lots of questions in addition to what I told him. I could see that he REALLY listened and wanted to help. He ordered the right tests and has taken a tremendous interest now in finding me the best specialist to move on to after my diagnosis so that I can receive treatment in a surgical setting. I would highly recommend Dr. Anthis to anyone needing help with their hearing or ears!

No parking garage so survival of fittest driver! If you are late you can loose appt and have to pay. Make sure to allot 30 minutes for finding parking.

Greetings, On my last viisit a liquid formula for treating thick mucous. A very strong and burning liquid was applied through my nostrils. I am still having significant burning on my lips and tongue. I went in feeling really bad because of repeat sinus infections. Quality of life was poor. He recommended the Balloon Sinuplasty, it worked great! My quality of life is much better now and the procedure was pretty easy.

My daughter has had ongoing ear problems for several years and has had 5 sets of tubes or more (lost count). When her other ENT retired we went and saw Dr. Anthis and have been seeing him since. He has continued to try and get to the reason of her loss of hearing and did allergy testing. Since he put in her last set of tubes 3 years ago she has had minimal ear infections. He has a great bedside manner and is well worth the wait.

he and his staff are HORRIBLE. simple as that! he is not professional, he is not concerned, his staff is unorganized, and he has an arrogant attitude. i will not be back. asked him to see if my son had an allergy infection, he told me to visit my pediatrician. he is rude and not willing to help. his staff is stupid and play on their phones. the office manager is no better. they can not take appointment well, they tell you the wrong information and they are lazy, i will NEVER go back if he was the last doctor on earth. i wish i could complain to someone and something could be done. he is only concerned with billing the insurance. Please find someone else!!!!!!!!!!

I waited for two hours to see Dr. Anthis for nothing. When I asked him a question he was incredibly rude and walked out on me! I have no idea what I did wrong. My questions are unanswered. I wish I could not pay him! The audiologist was the one who did all the work, and she was great. I will not be back to see Dr. Anthis.

My kindergartner failed his hearing tests at school. We saw Dr. Anthis and found that along with fluid during allergy season (which we knew)was that he has conductive hearing loss (total suprise!). My very shy son absolutely loves it at Dr. Anthis'. I was very impressed of how he handled a shy and squirmy 6 year old. My son actually tracked Dr. Anthis down again on our way out and gave him a huge hug. I was amazed by my son's reaction to his visit. His ears felt better and he finally felt understood. Hearing problems can be mistaken for behavioral at his age so I am sure it was a relief for him. I had figured we would have been dealing with the possibility for tubes because my son has always had fluid problems bc of short tubes so I was a little blindsided by the new possibility of a hearing aid. Dr. Anthis has been wonderful answering my questions and taking my concerns to heart. He hasn't just told me what is needed, but really has made us part of the process. Great Dr.,… great staff, great experience.

I had a deviated septum surgery done by him(lots of follow up appts), very professional/personable staff. He even asked if we could say a prayer before my surgery(my mom and me), very sweet-no doctor has ever done that! im also getting allergy shots. he has given me free samples on meds, ez to schedule appts, spends a lot of time. wait from time arrive to time actually see is about 30min though, but worth it.
