I would highly recommend not coming here. This doctor wouldn't see me over 1 week after i had an eye infection

Never coming here again. I had a serious eye infection and they wouldn't see me for over a week.

Awful doctor. I got a serious eye infection and had to wait over 2 weeks to see him.

Eye issues are no joke, and Dr. Eichler takes you seriously. The one thing he is more intensly committed to than the professionalism of his practice is the best individual eye care plan and procedure for every single patient. I've had numerous eye issues, and once when my retina was in the process of detaching and Dr. Eichler was not available to see me that day, I panicked and went to a different retinologist whose procedures ultimately caused permanent blindness in my eye. I will now always use Dr. Eichler, even if it means traveling the entire way around the globe. He is the best, no doubt about it. Put aside any reviews about his office staff or wait times (I've not had any issues in that regard) and just go and know that he will do everything humanly possible to improve or save your vision. He deeply cares, and you know it when he's inspecting your eyes and communicating with you and his assistants. He's the best, hands down.

I have been seeing Dr. Joel Eichler for over 10 years. He has saved my vision. He has put me at ease on more than one occasion as I have had to have multiple surgeries. My vision has been restored. He explains everything that is going on in layman's terms. I have developed a wonderful rapport with office staff. They have always treated me with dignity and respect. I would recommend him to anyone who had diabetic Retina issues.

Dr. Eichler is about the best eye doctor I have ever gone to. I have been to top "Park Ave" doctors who were very good but Dr. Eichler has been the best. He is knowledgeable, patient, kind, efficient and funny. If he is talking to his assistant in the exam room it is to document everything about your condition. If you have to wait in his office it's well worth it. These are your eyes~

I went to another doctor who wouldnt answer my questions. Dr. Eichler took the time to explain what was happening and the best course of treatment.

I was sent to Dr. Eichler at the request of another eye doctor. I was nervous since I had read a prior poor review. Staff was friendly, I did not have to wait too long. Dr. Eichler was very nice and put me at ease. He did speak with a scribe but he explained that he would relay my exam findings to her and then go over everything with me - which he did. He explained it all and in understandable language!. I had lots of questions and he was very patient, even had a sense of humor. I will definitely be going back.

Not only was the office staff friendly and professional it was nice to find that the doctor was down to earth and knew his stuff! A nice experience.
