Dr. Joel A Hoffman, MD

Dr. Hoffman is truly one of smartest doctors I know! He is a great listener, and was able to solve my son's "medical mystery" in one visit. Prior to seeing Dr.Hoffman, my son and I had made several trips to the pediatrician because he had been sick for 5 weeks. We had seen 4 doctors who were unable to diagnose him or help him, one of whom had misdiagnosed him and put him on the wrong meds. Dr. Hoffman really helped my son by listening to us and his symptoms, and putting together a timeline of the illness. By thinking outside the box (differently from the other doctors we'd seen), and ordering the appropriate tests, he was able to get the right diagnosis, and give him the proper treatment to get him on the right track towards healing! My son is much better now -Dr. Hoffman is wonderful!!

My 16 year old son has always had trouble breathing out of his nose and large tonsils which were always prone to infection. Dr. Hoffman explained in detail what needed to be done and how much he could help improve my sons issues. He was patient and answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman. After six months of breathing problems and a whistling sound from my nose, I sought treatment from North Atlanta ENT & Allergy. This decision turned out to be life changing for me. Dr. Hoffman performed surgery to close a perforated septum and correct nasal valve collapse on both sides of my nose. As of writing this review, I am six weeks post-op and can breathe so much better! I sleep better, have more energy and feel fantastic.

I had the procedure done on Feb 20th. So far the result has been outstanding. Prior to my procedure my sinuses were not draining properly and so I was getting frequent sinus infections and chronic headaches. Dr Hoffman explained the procedure in advance very well so there were no surprises. Immediately after the procedure, I flushed my sinuses regularly as directed. There was slight discomfort for a couple of days, but nothing remarkable. For the past 2 months, I have had no headaches and no sinus pressure whatsoever. I keep hearing about this being a bad season for allergies but so far, so good for me. I highly recommend Dr. Huffman!!!

I had thought about having sinus surgery for decades and finally decided to have it done over a month ago by Dr. Hoffman. I have been plagued with chronic sinusitis and congestion for most of my life. My recovery from surgery was swift and I can breathe freely again. If you're thinking about having this surgery I encourage you to see Dr. Hoffman. I only wish that I had this surgery done by Dr. Hoffman a long time ago.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joel Hoffman's for more than 3 years. His bedside manner is always very professional & friendly! He always took the time to explain my options. Dr. Hoffman has done my grandsons and my daughters surgeries. When my daughter had her sinus surgery at the age of 18 and the night of surgery she got a massive headache that we couldn’t get to go away so we called the answering service. They immediately called Dr. Hoffman he returned my call and told us to go to the ER to have her checked out. Little did I know he was meeting us there. His care and compassion for his patients is like nothing I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend him and his practice. Thank you Dr. Hoffman for being such a caring compassionate doctor to my family!

I am VERY VERY happy with the care I received from Dr. Hoffman and his team. I've suffered from breathing and sleeping trouble for years. The improvement in my quality of live since being treated by Dr. Hoffman has been amazing. He was able t swiftly diagnose and treat the causes of the problem. I can't recommend Dr. Hoffman enough. My son with special needs fell out of his wheelchair and broke his nose. He wasn't sleeping for close to 6 months! Dr Hoffman repaired his Septum and opened the blocked airway and it's a miraculous life changer! He's sleeping and feels great. He didn't even post op pain. The entire staff is fabulous, and caters to all ages! Even my husband was so impressed with Dr. Hoffman's expertise, he is going to switch from his current ENT to these wonderful folks!
