He returned to Columbia University for special training in periodontics, completing the program in 1975. Dr. Kleiman has been placing dental implants since 1987. He is a former assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology at Columbia University S.D.O.S and has lectured extensively on periodontics, oral medicine, and oral implantology.
Dr. Kleiman enjoys spending time with his wife, Joann, his daughters, Erika and Jamie, sons-in-law, Jim and Andrew, and granddaughter, Jessica Belle. He has traveled extensively in Europe and has taken advanced courses at the International Wine Center.
