Dr. Joel K Lall-Trail, MD

Stuck with this Dr and office because there aren't many in this field in this area. Very long wait times, scheduling staff unhelpful and uncaring, and sometimes Lall-Trail can be "difficult" or "less than friendly". Would try another Dr. if possible. However, the small store at the front of the office to buy glasses is another story, they are exceedingly helpful and accommodating.

It's been very frustrating to wait for long time to get an appointment and then wait up to two hours to see the doctor.

Awesome Doctor! Was kind, attentive, and answered all of our questions. He came as a refferal from our pedirician and from the ENT specialist. The office was set up for children and that made the whole process less stressful on our 15 month old son. Great Doctor, would reccommend to anyone.

We are extremely pleased with the care my son has received. He began seeing Dr. Lall-Trail at the age of 2 (2 years ago). Surgery was a last resort, as he felt glasses could correct the problem. My son is still happily wearing glasses and has no apprehension when it is time to go for an appointment. The staff and Dr. are great.

He was unable to manage my daughter's eye infection. She could have gone blind. Fortunately I got a second opinion. She was only 3 days old and pus was pouring out of her eye. He said he would see me in a month. What a joke.

Indignant is definitely not a word to describe Dr. Lall-Trail. He's quite the opposite. He's been working with my daugther since she was about a month old (she's 2 now) & he is very knowledgeable in what he does. He has also preformed surgery on my daughter & they let you know before hand that it may take one or more surgeries to correct whatever problem the patient may have also.

I read the review above that said the doctor became "indignant." I'm not sure this person is speaking of Dr. Lall-Trail. I don't think it's possible for him to be indignant. He's a fantastic doctor; very gentle with my son; very patient in explaining things to us. Our son's surgery went extremely well, and we love having Dr. Lall-Trail as our son's ophthalmologist.

After two surgeries, my sons eyes still showed NO improvement, and when questioned about a possible correction using another method he became indignant.

Dr. Lall-Trail is an excellent doctor who has a wonderful attitude when working with small children and we are happy to have found him.
