Be aware of this doctors ability to make sound and safe medical decisions! Dr. Musicant has been my wife's gastroenteroligest for about two years and knows my wife's condition very well. My wife had most of her intestines removed, has only 5 feet of intestines left. This causes her to have constant diarrhea as the doctor knows this very well. She was admitted to Community Medical Center with a very bad blood infection, non-Covid condition. She was put on a non-Covid-19 floor. After three days Dr. Musicant said she has to be moved to a Covid-19 floor with other Covid patients. He said the reason is diarrhea a sign of Covid-19. I immediately called to ask why and argued that this could be a death sentence for her since she is immuno-compromised do to her condition. Finally after arguing to keep her on the non-Covid floor they tested her for Covid-19 and she was negative. How could a doctor with his experience and his understanding of her condition give her a death… sentence by sending her to a Covid floor??????

I've been seeing Dr. Musicant since I was 16. He is SO understanding of the pain and emotional affects of UC. He has great bedside manner and takes the time to explain everything going on inside my body.
