Dr. Joel Torres, MD

I was referred to Dr. Torres for nerve conduction studies. He performed the procedure in a meticulous, thorough manner. After the procedure, he immediately explained the results in concrete, easy to understand terms. He clearly stated that prompt surgery was necessary for an optimal result. The subsequent surgery was successful and led to complete recovery. Dr. Torres had a great bedside manner and communicated in a very personable and professional manner. I give him the highest possible rating and recommendation.

I recently had an unbelievably terrible experience at Dr. Torres’s office. I never got to see Dr. Torres as his office staff was so openly rude and inappropriate. I arrived a few minutes late to the office and the secretary did not call to notify Dr. Torres that I had arrive for several minutes after I spoke with her. She then told me that his office staff said I had to reschedule my appointment as I was just too late. Keep in mind I had made this appointment over three months prior and this was the the first opening they had. The secretary openly laughed and said my name on the phone to Dr. Torres’s office staff and was shaking her head. I let the secretary know that I had tried multiple times to call the office to let them know I would be late and she said that the phone lines did not switch over until later in the morning- about thirty minutes after my appointment time. I work in the healthcare field and am absolutely blown away by the horrible and rude service of this… office. I would highly recommend going to any other neurologist to not have to deal with this horrific service.

I beg the 81st to listen to the patients they know that body and no when something is wrong I feel let down depressed and very untrusting of drs in our area because of drs like him my problems are worsening and I have up hope after his cold uncaring attention to me as a paying patient

Kind, thoughtful and thorough. He went the second mile in consulting with colleagues at other medical centers for possible treatment.

I was wrong he doesn't seen to want to find out what is wrong with a person a few test and that's it all I was told if I have any neurological problems make an appt. I have multiple debilitating problems and my husband and I are not giving up just like dr Torres wouldn't if it was him or a family member of his
