After several months of diagnosis, a neurologist and spine surgeon concluded that my symptoms were not related to spinal issues and referred me to Dr. Tucker. After reviewing hip x-rays with me, he recommended hip replacement Surgery. Due to heart condition uncovered during pre-op assessments, Dr Tucker decided to perform the procedure in a hospital with overnight stay. Due to low pressure, I remained in hospital for 7 days before transitioning to a rehab facility. During this period, Dr. Tucker and his team visited me in the hospital and coordinated care with my cardiologist and hospital physician. I'm now working with Bienville's nurse navigator and physical therapy staff for the next phase of recovery. All in all, this was a well managed and coordinated experience where I was listened to and cared for professionally.

This doctor is very knowledgeable, professional and preformed a very thorough exam. Very courteous and efficient staff. I am a retired RN and took care of a lot of ortho patients. I was impressed with Dr Tucker as a nurse and now as a patient. I will always request Dr Tucker after this experience as a patient, for myself and my family. I highly recommend Dr Tucker.

I wanted Dr. Tucker’s input on my painful shoulder. He gave me the truth and some suggestions. He has been my orthopedic Dr for 10 years. He has been helpful always and my husband and I are very fond of him. He has operated successfully on both of us. We trust him for the truth with respect for our advanced ages: 74 and 82.

I absolutely love all the doctors at Bienville orthopedic specialist. I have had both knees done. I've had my ankles done and my shoulder. If you're not sure of where to go, please go to Dr. Joel Tucker. He is kind and will do anything to make your experience a pleasurable one.. I do not have a bad word to say about anyone at Bienville orthopedics.
