Horrible experience with office manager M. back in 2014 she screened his calls so I was never able to speak with him. I cancelled my pending surgery solely because of her poor attitude and how rude she treated me.

I believe God sent Dr Ulloth to Maui just in time to turn my life around. In Oct 2018 I was diagnosed with a bulging disc and hospitalized for 4 days before going home and laying flat on my back for 3 weeks. After visiting with my primary physician at Kaiser and tons of different medications as well as 2 chiropractors, acupuncture, PT and massage therapy nothing worked. My Dr as well as a spine surgeon in Oahu told me I was not a candidate for surgery. More pills but not surgery??? 6 months later I couldn't stand or walk so back to the ER. After being admitted and more time in hospital, A female Dr somehow connected me with Dr Ulloth. He visited my room, ordered a NEW MRI and the came back and visited me again and said " you have suffered enough". He scheduled my surgery for that Friday and continuously communicated with me. The surgery went great and I walked out of the hospital the next morning with only the slight pain from the small incision. Dr Ulloth gave me my life back and I… am so grateful to him. This island and world need more great surgeons like this. Having someone care about the health of the patient instead of working the system is so refreshing. Dr. Joel Ulloth is an amazing human being. He’s an excellent doctor, and a caring person. He took care of my husband like a family member. When other physicians gave up on Forrest telling him he had at best a few months. Dr. Ulloth gave us 3 more good years together. He was our advisor on so many things. I developed spinal issues early in life. I didn't think I would be able to do the things that I love. Dr Ulloth gave me my life back. I had a 3 level ACDF and I was back to work in 2 weeks.
