He does not want to take time even 2 seconds to hear patients.

Been going to him since we moved here (2003) with the exception of Obama's "If you like your doctor....." Couldn't keep him but as soon as I was able, went back to him! Love him! Sometimes the wait is a little long but I figure that's because he gives all his patient's his full attention and goes the extra mile for them!

Very unhappy with this Dr. Never spends more than 5 minutes listening to you, he is not compassionate. Seems thats he doesnt care. I hAve no complains about his staff or waiting time,. But definitely wont go back.

I have never met a bigger pompous jerk in all my life. It actually depresses me that I have to even talk to him. He's such a jerk.

You typically have to wait over an hour in the office, but this doctor is worth the wait.

I have had Doc Velasquez for almost two years. I am not happy with how long he spends time with me in his patient room, it seems so rushed. he does not seem like he even cares. I cannot come to him with more then three things at one time, or I have to make another appointment. I called his office as instructed by my insurance to let him know I was having trouble after surgery, was told he would call back well the call back was 3 days later by that time I had all ready gone into the ER. he walks out of the room without saying he is finished. I feel like I don't even want to go and see him anymore but I have several Referrals out their to other doctors and I don't want to have to start the process over again, so now I just go to the walk in or to the ER. I went to him with pain and he says to be that I failed to follow up with the doctor that he had sent me, to but In fact I had followed up he just didn't read his computer that he carried around with him correctly, made me feel insulted… like I was lying. HIs front office lady Anna had an attitude like oh..

After two years as a patient, I got tired of having only one symptom treated per visit (Dr.'s guidelines) and switched doctors only to have my medical records held for 3 months by office. Still not transferred as of this writing and the only reason is "awaiting Dr. review". Review? He wrote the stupid stuff and now he needs to review it before he releases my medical history to my new Dr. Sounds like CYA to me. Am filing a grievance with Blue Shield to get help in this matter. Steer clear of "one symptom Joe".
