I had seen DR Boiser for years for migraines and sciatica. I trusted him completely until I woke up paralyzed from the knee down on my right side no less. I told him I thought it was my back but he insisted it wasn’t. I went to another neurologist and she did the same test and said you need back surgery immediately. Now 4 spinal fusions later, I never recovered use of my right foot. I had to retire from a job I loved and can’t run and play with my beautiful grandsons. Something’s are unforgivable!

I have been seeing neurologists for many years, in 2 different states. He by far us the most personable, and friendly, takes time to get to know you.

Don't waste your time with this insensitive ahole. Waited over 3 months for an appointment. Had to have my mother fly in from out of state to take care of my son and get him to school, just to meet their ridiculous new patient appointment time of 7:45am. Leave my house over a half hour earlier then navigation said I needed to only to get stuck in 2 accidents. Try to call.. noone answers.. receptionist said I can wait and see if the next appt shows.. they don't but he still refused to see me.

He listens to me! That is very important to me. Diagnosis is spot on!

Patient Beware, I scheduled an appointment with this doctor as a follow up to my only other appt. I had with him and it took 1 month to get an appointment. After waiting the month and the day of the appointment I traveled 2 hours to the doctor from my home and unfortunately got caught in traffic and arrived at the doctors office 4 minutes late. I signed in and was ignored by the receptionist even though I went back up to the desk after 5 minutes asking if I needed to fill out additional forms as my insurance had changed since my last visit. The lady rudely told me to take my seat and she would call me up when she was ready. 5 more minutes past and she called me up to her desk only to say I would have to reschedule due to a 10 minute grace time for the appointment. I ask what she was talking about as I had arrived late but by only 5 minutes and it was she that had left me waiting and I was not late. I then ask about the policy of a 10 minute grace time as I had no knowledge of such… a policy and had never heard of such a thing. I mentioned that the last time I had a appointment with this doctor it had taken him 2 hours to see me and I ask to speak to the doctor. At this point the receptionist sent me to speak with the scheduler who told me the same thing about a 10 minute grace time for an appointment and I would have to reschedule my appointment. I said it had taken me a month to get an appointment and it was 2 hours each way for me to travel to and from the doctors office and said I could wait for the doctor to see me if he would but was told he only schedules 3 appointments each day and he had ask the doctor and the doctor said NO I could not wait to be seen! W.O.W. What disregard to his patients time and what a crass doctor and staff. I will never use this doctor again and I am writing this. To inform you of what you will be up against if you decide to use him. Patient Beware!!!!!!!!!

Dr Boiser is pleasant and professional.

I saw Dr. Boiser for a walking problem and was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and put on medications for it, which did not help. I requested a referral for a second opinion, and I was just seen this morning at UAB. They confirmed that I had no signs on my examination of Parkinson's Disease and found very clear signs of a neuropathy. Now I'm no doctor, but Parkinson's is a brain problem and neuropathy is a nerve problem, which aren't even in the same spectrum. I'm glad I requested a second opinion.
