I will always be deeply grateful to Dr. Coetzee, Lisa and Larry for their exceptional care. I had three fractures and a dislocation resulting with four surgeries and an ankle that was completely out of the joint by a previous orthopedic surgeon. I couldn't walk more than a few hundred feet and suffered from pain and swelling. Dr. Coetzee spent hours removing the hardware and replaced my ankle so I could walk again. He has given my life back to me and I will be eternally indebted to Dr. Coetzee and his remarkable staff.

We are so fortunate to have met Dr. Coetzee. He is a world renowned Orthopedic surgeon. He has successfully performed three surgeries on me, and two on my daughter. He is an excellent surgeon, very gentle, incredibly skilled, and a very kind person.

Dr. Coetzee has been wonderful to work with throughout the entire post-injury process. For ankle injuries, he is one of the very best surgeons in the world. In addition to being highly skilled he is very personable, explaining the procedure and recovery process in easy to understand terms. I highly recommend Dr. Coetzee!

I found this amazing doctor back in 2007 after 3 other doctors treated my broken ankle and I had already had a fusion of the ankle. Dr. Coetzee told me he could correct the problem and after so many others said the same thing, I was very skeptical, but I was desperate to try again. Dr. Coetzee was the only doctor that corrected my ankle enough to be able to stop wearing ankle braces, splints and boots. I was able to walk again without too much of a limp. Now years later, I am contemplating a total ankle replacement as the arthritis has gotten so bad and the pain is getting so much worse. He is the one I will be contacting if I make this decision to have a total ankle replacement, as I have total confidence in him. I am just so nervous to go down this road again of healing.

This man is my hero! I suffered a Lisfranc injury in early 2018 which brought me to my knees. As a runner and triathlete, the thought of being sidelined was devastating. Thankfully, I found Dr. Coetzee and he assured me that he could repair the foot and get me back on the road. His confidence and caring manner were so comforting, and his expertise in foot surgery is second to none. He is well known and respected around town. Several friends and doctors told me how lucky I was to have him for my surgeon. My recovery and comeback were remarkable. Six months after surgery I ran the first marathon of my life, and now I'm training for my first Ironman triathlon in 2019. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Coetzee and his wonderful staff!

You won't find anyone with more knowledge and capability on ankle issues. A very caring and talented surgeon.

Dr. Coetzee is a passionate surgeon. His experience, knowledge and skills as a surgeon of the feet and ankles are amazing! I have been a patient of Dr. Coetzee since 2013. He is very conservative on his treatment plans and when it was time for a toe fusion and bone spurs removal surgery, he did it. Everything is healing properly! I will be scheduling a total ankle replacement in the next six months with Dr Coetzee. Nervous, but excited to be relived of the "cement pain" in my left ankle. His STAFF are wonderful and caring! Would love to work for TCO!
