I attribute my recovery to this physician (and God). My right leg was severely and complexly broken after a traumatic car accident. Apparently amputation was an option, but I didn’t hear about this until after the fact (I was in critical care due to other serious injuries sustained). Thankfully, Dr. Gruenwald was able to put the pieces of my leg together. It’s been 6 years since the accident, and I’m still doing great. No abnormalities in gait whatsoever and the scars are minimal. Dr. Gruenwald is an outstanding doctor. He’s kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced and simply the best. Highly recommend.

thinking I may need a second opinion this is my first knee injury and I don feel comfortable with results and I am not responding well to any of the treatments.

His manner is fabulous. His working knowledge affords him the ability to ascertain the true problem. UAMS screwed up letting him go! We'll probably drive to him for her next surgery.

he's a broken bones specialist not ENT. how could UAMS in Little Rock let him slip away? My doctor in NW Arkansas was about to amputate my broken leg, which was not healing, and he saved it. my leg is completely normal now he is in Indiana now, and if I ever need an ortho again I'll drive up there

Dr. Gruenwald has rescued me twice due to accidents. The only thing he hasn't replaced is my left knee, lower right leg, and right hip. He is one of a kind and he truly has his heart in the right place.

He was great! Attentive, reassuring, and got my leg healed after MONTHS of it not healing and being told by another doctor I might lose it. Dr G is great!!!

Dr. Greunwald repaired my arm following a car accident. My right humerus was snapped like a wooden pencil and my ulna was shattered. I was a case that terrified the entire radiology staff :) I was told that Dr. Greunwald himself did all my original films because of the broken humerus' close proximity to a nerve that controlled the use of my hand. He and his surgical team did beautiful work on my arm and because of them, I still have full use of my arm and hand. The same team had to do a follow up debriedment surgery due to a staph infection; not the best way to wrap up the case, but regardless, they took care of me the second surgery as well and rid my arm of infection.
