Dr. John Keith Abbott III, MD

We are so impressed with Dr. Abbott!!! He personally called our home today with my husband's CT Scan results. He said he did not want us to be worried during theThanksgiving break. We appreciated that act of kindness beyond words. Not only is he a caring person but an excellent surgeon as well. He removed 3 hernias for my husband in January 2022 and it went smoothly from beginning to end.

Dr. Abbott has done surgery on me twice. I couldn't ask for a better Dr. If anyone needs a surgeon, call him. He's great.

Dr. Abbott was very supportive during the pre-surgery process and at every step along the way. He gave me a last chance before the surgery to opt out, and was extraordinarily supportive during the after process. I required a second repair surgery and during my hospital stay he was supportive, informative, compassionate, knowledgeable and sensitive. His bedside manner and availability is second to none. I would recommend and have recommended him to others.

He seemed very confident in diagnoses and treatment. Had surgery with him and one of his nurses was terrible in demeanor and practice. That was at the Rockwall Surgery Center. I was not prescribed any take home anti-nausea meds which would have come in very handy as heaving is agonizing with a fresh cuts. His biller doubled charged me a small fee and could not see the light as we went back and forth for 5 min. I gave up. He's good. The other folks, not so much.
