Dr. Adelsperger grew up in Union City, Indiana. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Butler University, and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, with honors, from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1997. He completed his four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center and Methodist Hospital in 2001.
Dr. Adelsperger is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He has been the recipient of several awards for clinical excellence and professionalism. His interests include implants, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, and treatment and reconstruction of oral and maxillofacial pathology.
Dr. Adelsperger is a pilot, and he enjoys scuba diving, golf, snow skiing, mountaineering, and rock climbing. His wife, Jayme, is a practicing orthodontist. They have two children, Campbell and Carsen.
