2022 review : THIS DR CHANGED MY LIFE but in the WORST way. He did a torn hip labrum FAI surgery on me in 2017. After 4 years and thousands of $$ to figure out why I was STILL living with up to level 10 pain after…EVERY SINGLE DAY since my surgery, saw multiple doctors, had multiple very painful tests, no one could figure out what was wrong with me until I ended up at a hospital in NC and finally had the answer…..2021 MRI results…Dr Aldridge didn’t repair my labrum during the surgery! Did he tell me that? NO! PLUS even worse, There was SO MUCH DAMAGE inside my hip from that surgery that revision surgery wasn’t really even an option. I had to have a total hip replacement because oF his incompetence. . My hip cartridge was stretched out, ( unrepairable) my labrum was shedded, the capsule punctures LEAKING, That wasn’t even repaired correctly. I don’t know how much longer I will suffer as a result of walking around on a damaged hip for so many years. Horrible experience

3 months ago dr aldridge preformed knee replacement surgery on me. 3 months later I am still in great pain, much more than before. No response from him, no relief from pain. Going for second opinion to hopefully get relief from pain. Find another doctor.

Don't expect a HELLO or HOW ARE YOU from this guy. Had 2 xrays and 1 MRI.Never Showed or explained. Show me the MONEY MD other opinion NO SURGERY NEEDED.

He is super quiet, doesn't explain or give you any information, unless you ask? Back is still bothering me after 20 weeks.

I have had two surgeries now by Dr. Aldridge, one in my back and one on my wrist plus he treated me for pelvic fracture. He doesn’t chat or visit with you a lot so you have to have your questions ready and spit them out fast! But treatment exceeded expectations and I got back to normal very quickly. He knows his job.

WORST ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR EVER!! I drove my dad to see this guy as he was in an urgent need of shoulder surgery and Dr. Fithian was booked up. This guy was not even in the room for 7 minutes, did not explain anything, and when my dad asked additional questions, he was condescending and narcissistic. This was the first time that I cried in a doctor’s office because my dad deserved so much better than that. I refuse to call this man a true doctor. We thankfully switched surgeons and found a much better surgeon. Avoid this guy at ALL COSTS!!

When I was treated years ago for a knee replacement I noted that I was feeling something strange in the area of the tibia area of where the replacement ended. I brought this to his attention numerous times, including when he treated me shortly thereafter for a fractured ankle, and he always "blew" me off, did not even listen to what I was trying to convey. When the treatment on my ankle was near completion, I had them X-ray my tibia area in addition to the ankle, and sure enough there was a problem, my replacement had come loose on the bottom. After the bone scan, with me having an allergic reaction to the dye, which swelled my whole leg and foot to twice its size, (with his documentation noting, and I'm not lying here, "No swelling, No edema!!!!) he offered to replace the bottom part of the replacement. I REFUSED based on: 1. With his lackadaisical attitude towards me during the times I told him something was wrong; 2. His truly not paying attention to his patient---My leg was twice… its size and he writes No Swelling, No Edema to my chart; and 3. You don't replace part of a hinge----You replace the WHOLE hinge for it to work right---You don't go to Lowe's for 1/2 a hinge to fix something. Hope he has grown up some and slows down enough to pay attention to his patient and their complaints.

Dr. Aldridge should not be able to do surgery for any reason.
