Exceptional! There are simply no other words to describe the experience we had with Dr. Amato. When it became clear that my son would need orthognathic surgery, I immediately reached out to trusted friends and family in the medical field for advice; literally all of them – between New York and New Jersey – pointed me straight to Dr. Amato. Words cannot express how grateful we’ve been for Dr. Amato’s tremendous expertise and experience; calm, confident, and easygoing demeanor; and the superior professionalism he and his office staff showed my son. I knew we were in great hands the entire time. And, as a mother, there is no other surgeon to whom I would have entrusted the care of my child.

I had a chin augmentation 2 months ago because I had a receding chin and the results were incredible and definitely exceeded my expectations. Dr. Amato did a fantastic job and has very good bedside manners. He followed up with me consistently after surgery and made me feel very confident during recovery. I highly recommend him and his practice.

I had jaw surgery due to my jaw being misaligned and through the entire process, Dr. Amato and all staff were excellent. I had the surgery and the follow up and recovery is closely supervised. IMO Dr. Amato is the best in the field

Dr. Amato performed a complicated Jaw surgery on our daughter recently and it was an outstanding success. Dr. Amato and his very attentive staff are wonderful. Dr. Amato's attention to detail, ability to communicate with patients, and his incredible surgical abilities are all tremendous. We would highly recommend him to family and friends.

I would highly recommend Dr. Amato & his entire staff. Between his caring & calm nature & his amazing surgical skills there is no other doctor I would rather have. I have trusted him with the most important person in my life, my son for the past 18 years. He has operated on him 6 times for his cleft lip & palate & he just finished his last 2 jaw surgeries. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Amato. He's extremely friendly and super on top of everything when it comes to his patients. He is always there when you have questions and he does hands down the best work out there. If you are looking for a surgeon for, in my case, jaw surgeries, Dr. Amato is the best out there.

I began seeing Dr. Amato when I was 12 or 13, and my last visit was when I was about 19. Dr. Amato was professional but had a good sense of humor. He also had excellent bedside manners. He was very knowledgeable and explained things to me very clearly. As a kid I was nervous about surgery, but over the years I felt I was in the best hands. The end result was more than I could have imagined, and Dr. Amato was there for me throughout my recovery. I could not have asked for a better experience or person!

Our daughter was born with cleft lip and cleft palate. Dr Amato has seen her and performed several delicate surgeries over the years. He is an innovator in several procedures including a recent jaw surgery. His procedure minimized our daughters discomfort and recovery time by quite a lot. He is friendly and takes his time to explain procedures. We never have to wait long in his office. His staff is awesome too and helpful whenever we have questions or need something. Highly recommend

He was very methodical in treating my underbite and informative in describing what would happen before, during, and after the procedure.
