Don’t bother . Stub your toe and you’ll end up in the ER . Sends you all over the place

This review is specific to Dr. John Anderson’s office in McHenry - The staff does not listen to what you say, I asked for a referral to an ortho over a week ago and specifically told them what insurance to contact and here I am 36 hours before my ortho appt and not only has the referral not been received but the office didn’t request it from the insurance that I told them to. They requested it from an insurance that is no longer active so now I can’t go to my appt because they messed up. This is not the first time things like this have happened. Requests also take weeks, they don’t submit them when they say that they are going to or they don’t do it at all, Dr. Anderson’s bedside manor is very stiff, rude and makes you feel like you shouldn’t have said anything at all when you bring up any issues. I’ve been going to this office for 10+ years and it has gotten worse and worse, it’s time to find a new doctor that will actually listen and has a staff that does what they are supposed to… and that they say they are going to.

Dr. Anderson is one of the first Doctors that believe that my time is as valuable as his own. When you need him he is always there even if you just have questions. The group takes very good care of you when your in the hospital they all make you feel very comfortable and well taken care of.

I have had some serious illnesses. Dr. Anderson has always been there by my side through all of them. He has always been spot on and checks twice. I have never had the pleasure of any Doctor being on time each and every time for appointments besides him. His nurse is exceptional as well. I highly recommend him in the highest regards!

My Husband and I have been patients for quite a while and are very pleased with our Doctor and his staff. This is one Doctor who personally will call us with test results instead of having the nurses do the job. Very compassionate and caring....

I have been a patient of Dr. Andersons for some time. I was squeezed in for an appointment because I was not feeling well. Although, I had no wait time in the office; Dr. Anderson rushed me thru the appointment spending a maximum of 3 minutes with me. I had previously been to see him for the same complaint although he didn't bother to read my prior info. in my file. He referred me to a specialists and walked out of the room. I did not know if we were finished or not. I had to walk out and ask him if we were through. This is common with all of my appointments. He never gives any indication that the appt. is over. Just walks out leaving you wondering. He also NEVER follows up with any tests he orders for his patients.

Dr. Anderson is a sincere and courteous professional. I have been a patient of his for the past 4 or 5 years and he has always spent time with me and has answered all of my questions. He's a great guy!
