Dr. John Franklin Ball, MD

There was a problem when I called ( 935-0519) a little over an hour prior to my appointment. Unsure of where Dr. Ball's office was located I called to ask where to check in. The receptionist took my name/birthdat and said I was to be seen by Dr. Ball in the Paragould Medical Park clinic. I questioned why I was not notified of this location when my appt. was scheduled. I got no satisfactory answer. So off I go to Paragould. His office there said that he was there that morning but was in Jonesboro that afternoon. I expressed my disappointment and asked the receptionist to notify Jonesboro office that I was on the way in case of late arrival. I was only late <5 minutes. No great apology was given for the confusion, lost time and gas money. After checkin was promptly taken back and had a bit of a wait. Understandable. Dr. Ball presented friendly and took down my reasons for being there. X-rays were done. Dr. Ball returned to go over x-ray results. Explaination was easily understood.… Recommendations and prescription was given. Dr. Ball is approachable and listens well. He is knowledgeable and I feel confident in him. His APRN (did not catch his name) came in later to explain the prescription and how to apply. Instructions understood. I would highly recommend Dr. Ball. However the front staff or whoever took my initial call needs further training to avoid confusion and extra expense.

I would choose Dr. Ball over any other ortho! He is amazing! And not to mention my scars are minimal! He just did surgery on my leg in November! And his staff is amazing! They have even went as far as calling and checking up on me!
