Dr. John Russell Belden, MD

I was referred for an ENT test, He did not give it to me although i his reort he said I should have one. He lied and said I had refused an MRI. Everything else he wrote was a either n outright lie or a distortion of the try\uth.

I believe he is well-meaning and he made attempts to be friendly. He asked me good questions but was very interruptive; my hunch is that he makes quick conclusions which then led to his being quite dismissive, even in the face of some observable symptoms which didn't seem to register. He may be a very knowledgeable doctor (I see some good reviews here which is encouraging) but his style did not work for me and I would not go back.

Personable, attentive, knowledgable and down to earth....great visit. :-)

My husband has Dr Belden as his neurologist. He has been very caring compassionate funny and knowledgeable about his field. When a family member went into a coma in another state he was gracious enough to talk to us even though it was not his patient and give us advice. I do not know what the negative comments are about. A bad day? I have had experience with several different neurologists for family members including at MGH Boston and Dr Belden is on par and above.

Belden is completely dismissive and will not even listen to your concerns. He rather enjoys interrupting, making assumptions, and hearing himself talk instead.

Worst doctor I have ever seen

He is the most uncaring doctor I have ever encountered. He seemed deficient in knowledge and acted like he couldn't care less.

Dr. Belden was very pleasent and easy to talk to. He explained things so I understood. I will tell friends to go to him. I will also go back to him..

Of the doctors I had treating my head injury he was the best one I had. I suppose he is just as hard to get an appointment with as any other good neurologist.
