Dr. John Michael Bennett, MD

In 2005 he delivered my son. What should have been a beautiful experience was ruined by him making no attempt to hide the fact that I clearly pulled him away from something more important. He was extremely rude and treated me like garbage. He said to a nurse I had warts on my vagina but never talked to me about it. My ob gyn later confirmed that was not true. After a few pushes he got impatient and stuck a birthing vacuum in my opening to pull my baby out faster. As soon as he could leave he was outta there. He never really talked to me or communicated anything to me. I’ve never been treated so poorly by physician. I’ve never forgotten that horrible experience. Back then I couldn’t leave a review like this. But now I can, so here you go. I’m so sorry me going into labor inconvenienced your evening plans Doc.

delivered 3 of my 4 grandchildren, one was a complicated delivery, shes now is a healthy happy child.

As a former patient of Dr. Bennett, I will say that he was excellent in every way. I was always treated kindly and patiently. He performed my vaginal hysterectomy and was top notch and stayed on top of things. He also loved my chicken soup (homemade) when he had a cold.

Excellent doctor. He always spends as much time with his patients as they need. He is never afraid to tell you the way it is. Very honest

Dr. Bennett is one of the best surgeons/physician, He is a brilliant surgeon. He did my hysterectomy and I really respect his work and he is incredibly knowledgeable ,kind, and the most caring doctor I have ever had. When I have to wait for him at an appointment its definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend him to anyone. Cassidy Medical Group is very lucky to have such a fine dedicated surgeon /physician on their staff. I am grateful to have such a fine doctor.

I had bladder surgery with Dr. Bennett and was very disspointed after all the headache of the actual surgery it turned out he mis-positioned the plastic sling that helps you not to void. This carelessness is inappropiate for a doctor that has been in practice for over 30 years. SO now I have gone to another Doctor in La Jolla to have to re-do the whole surgery again. So frusterating, but I wanted to let other patients know who are thinking about getting the same surgery to go and get at least a second or third opinion before making the choice to proceed with Doctor Bennett.

Dr Bennett was the Dr for both my Son and my Daughter... Both were C-sections. He is an amazing surgeon! I would recommend EVERYONE TO HIM!

At first I was put off by his gruff personality, but as I got to know him, I found him to be a caring, skilled Dr with a lot of common sense. He has a very "take charge" personality (Hey, he's short AND a doctor) but really knows what he's doing, and is good at it.
