Dr. John Erik Beresh, MD

I was a patient there for almost two years. I went to see Dr. Beresh despite all the abysmal reviews online about him as I saw he had experience with my condition. One day after two years, with a routine urine test (where I was given a cup with a cracked seal on it and then never seeing it again after leaving it in the bathroom), I was told at my next visit that they were discharging me for not having a single drop of the medication they prescribed in my system. How is that even possible when I have been taking that medicine every day of my life for the last decade? When I asked if they were sure it was MY sample, they went on and on about how they take every precaution and follow every law to ensure mistakes don't happen. I was also told that there was a medication in my system that I can't take because it gives me seizures. They make no mistakes? Riiiight. When I asked how that was even possible, they said they don't know, but because of that, if I wanted to be considered to… come back as a patient I needed a psych eval, and even then it would be up to the doctor's discretion. I left in shock, and in tears. I have a progressive pain disease that there is no cure for, and finding a doctor with experience in it is hard. I now see WHY this man has a 1.8 rating on my insurance website, and I now believe all the terrible reviews. It's like as his practice grows, he just starts kicking out patients to make room for the ones that will bring him in more money. His office staff has got to be the rudest I have ever met in my 40+ years on this Earth. No matter how much you kill them with kindness, they treat you like crap. Crystal, who schedules the appointments very obviously expresses her hatred of her job every day. And trying to get an appt with the doctor every single visit PISSES her OFF. They farm you off to the nurses, and when you want to see your doctor, you have to go through the Spanish Inquisition as to WHY you would have the audacity to want to see an actual doctor. If I could give no stars, and curse throughout this review, I would. 100% would NEVER recommend, and will have zero problem telling anyone and everyone who asks about Dr. John Beresh the same. Not only did he kick me out of his practice, he also burned me with other pain doctors in the area AND my GP, who now looks at me like some junkie rather than someone with legitimate pain. I firmly believe all the former patients who have said that not only were they never apologized to for the absolutely HORRID behavior they were subjected to, but that they were actually ENCOURAGED to open a lawsuit against them. Painfully obvious that they are in it for the money, and not for the patients. Thank you for completely and utterly making my pain a thousand times worse. You are one of the reasons that people no longer trust doctors, or put any faith in the supposed "oath" you took. Shame on you, your nurses, your practices, morals and your staff. Shame on you.

What a horrible human being. He should not be practicing medicine.

My father WAS a patient of Dr. Beresh. For some reason Dr. Beresh kept prescribing Percocet to my father, even after I had made phone calls to the office and went to the office in person with my father, to tell Dr. Beresh that my father was now addicted. Dr. Beresh had said that there were no other options for my father's pain...even though he had never even prescribed physical therapy for him. Now my father is dead due to the Percocet addiction. Thank you Dr. Beresh for providing such outstanding medical care. You should have your medical license taken away!

I was a patient for 7 years n got booted by tamika calling me an opioid abuser! Yet NEVER had a pill count nor have I ever had a bad tube test! Probably because I don't do anything wrong. I spoke the truth and got sent to a physiatrist who completely DISAGREED!! I was denied seeing Dr Beresh. He's the actual doctor not these nurse practitioners. So they'll be hearing my name again soon!??

This man is sick! He enjoys hurting people already hurting. He slanders other Dr’s that prescribe more liberal. I had someone break into my car. Every Dr. replaced or continues to see me. He told me “So what you’re saying is, some kid, is Dead!, with a bottle of pain pills next to his head with my Name on them” I replied “Sir there’s crime in this world and some make a living doing it and may make More money than you unfortunately, I’m the victim here” Dr. Beresh has a terrible reputation among highly Respected Dr’s. I’m often told he’s a jerk by them. My urologist whom I’ll leave out of it said “I have never dealt with a more non compassionate man. He refused to call me back re your post operation care, I’m sorry Todd” Dr. Beresh is very much a smart elect. Using continuous snide remarks that are un professional. I wouldn’t take a animal to him... I tried to like him, I gave him a fair chance and I actually did like him pre op. Post op is a tragic story of abuse, neglect and… discrimination. He fired me as a parent today. And he enjoyed it! That’s the sick part. The pain Doctor that causes Pain is how I view him!!! Find someone else is my advice. Very Mean Person with issues!

This office is doing a good job of handling my severe pain. While not competely painfree I am living a much higher quality of life now.

I have seen Dr. BERESCH SINCE HE WAS NEWLY OPEN. HE HAS BEEN COMPASSIONATE, CARING AND HAS TRIED EVERYTHING TO EASE MY PAIN. HE HAS HAD WONDERFIL PA'S EXCEPT FOR ONE AND SHE DID NOT LAST LONG. I HAVE RECOMMENDED MANY PEOPLE TO SEE HIM, AND THEY HAVE LIKED HIM TOO. THANK YOU DR. BERESCH FOR ALL YOU DO FOR PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC PAIN.

I went to Dr. Beresh office when my Dr. I had been seeing left the practice. I thought that Dr. Beresh was very Proffesional and Witty, he understood everything that I was going through and worked out a good plan that worked well for me, and all his staff was very polite and new their job. But his one CPN had accused me of doing something that I would never have done without telling them first, accused me of taking something more than what I was priscribed. They released me just like that! They never took my history or past drug screenings into account. She accused and that was it! I was very hurt and felt unjust because I know that I did not take any more of this drug, but I could not fight the fact that it still showed up in my test.
