Dr. John David Bertrand, MD

Dr. Bertrand is the most amazing doctor I've ever been to. He gave me my quality of life back. If you're having issues with fibroids, please go see him. I had a very difficult and scary case and I truly believe he saved my life and gave me hope for the future. In addition to being the absolute best and most skilled, he is incredibly kind and thoughtful. He made me feel completely at ease during a very difficult and scary time. His entire staff is so sweet and so patient. His nurse Lora is incredibly attentive as well as kind and his surgery coordinator Katie went above and beyond for me and always kept me informed and encouraged. If you're looking for an OBGYN I highly highly recommend Dr. Bertrand and his entire staff.

Dr. Bertrand is an exceptional dr and was a blessing for me to find him. I have very complicated medical case and he has been excellent to spend time with me, and talk with me. Dr. Bertrand saved my life in 2008. He was not my regular doctor. My surgery was eight days later. I have been pain free for the last five years. I was able to resume a full life. I am grateful to him and his staff and Presby Dallas.

The hour long wait and the rudeness from both the staff and Dr. Bertrand left much to be desired. I will not return.

Dr Bertrand is an exceptional Dr. He saved my life by finding a fistula in my cervix created by a procedure called UFE UTERINE FIBROID EMBOLIZATION. I was literally chopped up inside, ureter on left side severed and other damage. Dr Bertrand performed surgery with my urologist and sat with me and my husband every night I was in the hospital. I'm grateful that he was my Dr. He is a gift from GOD. Quiet and humble. He is gifted and and talented man.

Dr Bertrand performed surgery on my two sisters. He was ao caring and warm. I would reccommend anyone to him!!!!!

I went to see Dr. Bertrand when I was only 6 weeks pregnant to have progesterone levels checked because I have had hormone imbalances in the past. Dr. Bertrand's staff failed to deliver my lab results to me. A week later, I had a miscarriage. When I went to see Dr. Bertrand afterwards, he informed me that my progesterone level was 7 (normal being 20). He had prescribed a supplement - but again, his staff failed to deliver the prescription or results or any information to me. Moreover, he said that with levels that low, the pregnancy likely would not have been able to be saved. If that was such, I would have expected a call from him, not for him to push off a prescription, to his staff that never delivered it. Then, after post-miscarriage testing, Dr. Bertrand and his staff again failed to deliver results, but a week later, called to confirm an ultrasound appointment that was scheduled prior to the miscarriage.
