Dr. John Albert Bigbee, MD

1. The obviously-uninformed and perhaps uneducated previous reviewer appears to angrily lash out at the physician who saw them. 2. The reviewer needs to take up concerns with billing and not the physician. 3. Dr. Bigbee's professional reputation reflects that he is one of the finest and most caring board-certified physicians practicing family medicine. 4. Whatever tests he ordered--which not only may be recommended by the American Board of Family Physicians--are those the physician may have needed to help rule in or out the patient's presenting symptoms. 5. It is suggested the patient direct their financial concerns to appropriate departments of the medical treatment facility they visited. 6. Quality medical care is expensive, however, what is the price of often-revealed disease states based in part on lab findings? 7. The previous reviewer's negative comments re the physician they saw have the dubious honor of being the subject's first--and previously only--review on this… site. 8. For those who read this and other reviews, please consider the content, emotional tone and appropriate or misdirected comments. 9. Many patients' visits to physicians not always are pleasant. Added to that, most patients, in fact, do have financial concerns. 10. This reviewer also is a Medicare patient, however, in my case, age, maturity and education point to the benefits of more thorough medical workups. I put my health before financial concerns and appreciate the consideration and/or physician recommendation of said lab tests, in fact, had I not submitted to an even-more costly CT scan of my chest during an ER visit for SOB (shortness of breath), I would not have known of the presence of a second and different breast cancer, nor would I be alive to write this response to the previous review. Does one get what they pay for? You bet they do. 11. I recommend that the above, obviously-disgruntled senior contact the medical facility in order to address their financial issues. Although I neither work for nor can speak for Patient First, it might be possible, in fact, for the patient to make more acceptable arrangements. 12. It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. I'm off to find matches.

I WENT FOR A PHYSICAL AND ENDED UP WITH A $500.00 BILL THAT MEDICARE WONT PAY $300.00 FOR PATIENTS FIRST AND $205.05 FOR BLOOD I HAVE APPEALED TO MEDICARE AND THEY STILL WONT COVER LIKE WAS SAID HE SHOULD OF OF CHECKED FIRST TO SEE IF MEDICARE WOULD OF COVERED THIS I HAVE BEEN UPSET THE WAY THIS WAS HANDLED I WILL NOT GO BACK TO HIMWHY HE ORDERED ALL THIS I DONT KNOW WITHOUT CHECKING. WHY DO YOU nTHINK I PAY FOR MEDICARE TO HAVE A BIG BILL LIKE THIS ANDBEING A SENIOR . THIS WAS VERY POORLY HANDLED AND NOW THEY SAY THEY ARE GONNA TURN IT OVER TO THE COLLECTING AGENCY I THINK PATIENTS FIRST SHOULD EAT THIS ONE AS I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND CANT AFFORD IT..
