Dr. John Franklin Bober, MD

I concur with the reviewer from 2010. This is a doctor who does not like his expertise to be questioned in the least. We've moved on to a provider that cares more about my child, the patient, than ego.

I disagree completely with the previous review (from 2010). Both of my children see Dr. John Bober regularly and like him very much. As a parent, I think very highly of him. He is a caring professional who listens attentively to the child, allowing them to talk and express as much as they want, and allowing him to gather the information he needs in order to help them. He is kind and empathetic, going out of his way to open up his schedule to serve his clients in a timely fashion. He is also very intelligent, but does not come off as arrogant (as the other reviewer said). Bottom line: I highly recommend him!

Dr. Bober seems to have forgotten his humanity. He's pompous and arrogant, and never lets you forget that he is the doctor and you are the psych patient (or the psych patient's parent). He doesn't listen to concerns, won't answer questions and definitely lets you know that you are bothering him/wasting his time. A big thumbs down.
