Dr. Boggess saved my life when other doctors gave up on me. During the 3 1/2 years under the care of Dr. Boggess, my husband and I have built a special bond with him. He is very caring and someone you can talk with easily.

Dr John Boggess was one of the best doctors I have encountered. Having never seen this doctor before, (he was recommended to me by my OB/GYN to do robotic surgery for my large endometrioma mass), I researched him and several other doctors online. I met him for the first time with my pre-op appt. He was very well mannered and explained my surgery in detail. He took his time with me, answering every one of my questions in full and I had tons of questions. He made me feel at ease and not once did he make me feel like he was rushing me. Then at the surgery, he came in to meet me and explain everything again to make sure I understood everything. The surgery was successful and I didn't have any pain, (even though they said I would be in lots pain for a few days), I was just sore. Dr. Boggess made contact with my family in the waiting room after surgery to update them while I was recovering. The entire staff at UNC during this whole process was wonderful. A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Boggess for… all you do and who you are.

He did a laparoscopic hysterectomy on me 7 years ago and I was feeling 100% within two days. He took a lot of time to review my options with my husband and I before surgery and encouraged me to contact him again if I had any more questions. Caring, knowledgeable and talented!

I met Dr. Boggess in his last year of residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. I moved to Seattle in the last two months of my pregnancy and was dreading finding a doctor. Dr. Boggess was wonderful through the remaining pregnancy and in delivery was and still the best doctor I have had. My daughter now goes to school at the University of Washington and hopes to be a doctor!!! Thank you Dr. Boggess!!!

A few adjectives to describe this great doctor, knowledgeable, caring, personable,responsible. Dr.Boggess takes enough time to explain questions until I was satisfied and comfortable with the answers. His bedside manners are exceptional.
