I visited Dr. Brown after visiting a urgent care PA for a Poison Ivy break out. I've had a couple in the past and they seem to be systemic for me as the rash shows up on parts of my body that were not exposed to the oils. The only treatment that I've been able to get the rash to go away with is prednizone. I specifically ask Dr. Brown for a second treatment of prednizone (first from PA) and was instead given a topical cream (Triamcinolone) to treat a systemic problem. I've called into the office to try and get some help and I keep get the run around of 'we'll call you back' and then when I call back they log it as 'they called me'. Typical of most GPs they don't really care if your recover only want you to come back into the office over and over so that they can milk you out of all your money. I don't believe that this Doctor take patient input very seriously when it comes to their system and history.

Dr Brown is a nice fellow. That's the best I can say. Oh, and the office was just nicely remodeled, no doubt on my dime. I went in 3x for the same complaint, each time more severe, once on an emergency basis. He ran the same tests 3x; routine cholesterol, thyroid, and electrolytes, then said it was nothing. Of course, insurance refused to pay 3x for the same thing, and I got stuck with over $1200 in bills. The office staff are beyond rude; try mean and hateful. No refills on Rx unless you go in ageing, but of course he's on vacation although you're miserable with a serious infection. Conclusion: if you have a minor cold or need a flu shot, ok, but don't expect him to recognize a deadly (and quite common) neurological disorder - he' ll tell you to eat more veggies and run a 4th cholesterol test.

Turns out that this doctor is only interested in patient turn-around! He misdiagnosed a sever problem! He was more worried getting check for something that had nothing to do with what we were there for! He had no follow up and did not even have the courtesy to do a follow up call and make sure everything was okay. Never in my life time or anybody that I know will I ever recommend this unqualified doctor! STAY AWAY
