My good long years doctor. I always feel better after seeing him.

My mom has been seeing Dr. Burnett for years and for years she had been complaining about dizziness and increasing fatigue to the point where she was sleeping 16 hours a day and had zero energy. She asked to get her carotid checked and after listening with a stethoscope determined “they were fine” well more recently she started developing chest pain. Testing revealed she was so tired because she needs 5 vessel cardiac bypass surgery, and dizzy because one carotid artery is up to 90% occluded. Things would not have gotten this bad with proper testing earlier. If I could give this doctor a negative infinity I would. Go retire! Worst doctor ever.

I find him abrupt and not a good listener.....

Don't care about what you have to say. In a hurry. Dictates patients charts with door open and any and everyone can hear your life history. No bedside manner. He needs to retire.

I have seen Dr. Burnett on one occasion. I don't recall a second of eye contact or any kind of personal acknowledgement. He interrupted me several times (and I'm not a rambler) and bobbed his head like yadda yadda yadda while rattling off his monotone diagnosis. In the health care business, more than in any other, customer service should be highly personal and custom. Dr. Burnett treated me like some menial task he didn't want to have to do. I would rather be sick than to have him treat me. This site made me give him one star. I'd rank him -1.

Rushed, pompous, uncaring, disinterested, bored, in a hurry,

This doctor, as I have heard from several people (and gleaned from my own experience with him), is not a very good doctor. He is not thorough and asked me very few questions in order to understand what was truly going on with me. He seemed rushed and acted as though he was working on an assembly line, rather than working with a patient who came to him with a legitimate problem. When my labs came back and they didn't seem right to him, he just said the lab must have been wrong and said to come back in two months to redo it. However,I was able to find within two minutes of searching online a diagnosis that fully fit the lab results.

Dr. Burnett is a caring, devoted physician with years of experience.
