Dr. John Todd Burton, MD

Worst experience and poorest care. Received a total hip replacement where he severely damaged my nerve causing foot drop and made my leg longer than the other. He never came to talk to me after surgery to explain what happened, did not treat the condition he caused and sent me home with no brace a leg longer than the other and thinks he did a successful surgery. He chose to ignore what happened and did not even include his mistake in my medical records. Did not acknowledge his mistake which caused me to have issues one after another due to this botched surgery. Make sure to ask him if he has ever had any issues or caused injury to any patients. He will lie and tell you he has had a perfect career. I have since had it redone by a competent doctor but will have to live with his mistake which severely damaged my nerve that has changed my life forever. This is not a successful hip replacement when you are more damaged for the rest of your life. He handled this situation so poorly and would… never recommend this doctor and would advise anyone to seek another Doctor.

My experience's with Dr Burton and staff have been nothing but positive. He has been accurate in my diagnosis, he has treated me with the proper treatments, including knee surgery and I have had a positive outcome from that. I would recommend Dr. Burton to anyone that is having any type of orthopedic issues!

My overall experience with Dr. Burton was rather questionable. I was given one diagnosis at my consultation, then on my follow after theraphy sessions I was given a different one. Although I was given Theraphy, I would have liked the Doctor to do a MRI of my shoulder to compare to the X-Ray done a few prior to my initial Consultation for the simple fact that I continued to have pain but moreso during theraphy.
