The best doctor I've ever seen in my life. I went in his office completely deaf in left ear from sudden hearing loss. Through steroids and injections of steroids in ear I obtained little over 50% back. He's phenomenal! The answer to prayers.- michelle m

Dr. Carey is the top doc in his field. He is truly amazing. Not only is he a brilliant Otolaryngologist and surgeon, but he explains everything very clearly and precisely. He is never rushed, and appears to be serene. He is compassionate and caring, always going the extra mile. He is the whole ball of wax.

Dr. Carey is a wonderful doctor. He takes time to listen to my questions from my first visit quite a few years ago until now. At one point I was also dealing with something else while coming for an appointment to see him, and he was concerned & followed up to be sure I was ok a day later. He is wonderful!!

Dr. Carey is the best of the best. I have a rare ear problem and after searching for answers for almost a year and feeling with no diagnosis and no answeres I decided to travel 8 hours away to see Dr. Carey. He is kind, caring, hard working, takes his time, and tuely compassionate for each and every one of his patents (i know many others who have seen him and say the same thing) He is the first doctor that let me ask all my questions with out feeling rushed out the door. I finally got a diagnosis and an explanation that made sense. He is extremely smart and knows what he is talking about. The real deal. I really cant say enough good things about him. It does take a long time to see him but he is well worth the wait, the drive, the plane ride..whatever it takes. I just wish other doctors could learn a few lessons from him. He should teach a class on doctors etiquette.

Doctor Carey was absolutely professional and courteous to my father. He definitely made my father feel comfortable and at ease. He knew what he was talking about and provided us with many options to treat my fathers problem. We really had a good experience with this doctor and his staff. The registration personnel was very attentive and nice, the nurses were just as nice. Even though my father does not speak the language, the visit went smooth and clear as Dr. Carey had a very pretty, professional, and skillful interpreter that with her kind smile helped my father to communicate with the doctor. My father was very appreciative of the fact that the doctor tried to speak the language to make him feel more comfortable. In overall, I recommend this doctor to anyone. The Guy knows his stuff and seems to be prepared to handle any situation.

if you can get an appointment with Dr. Carey- go for it. great bedside manner and explained everything even mentioned the word "surgery" in a very sensitive way. He made me feel taken care of after over a year of inbalance and vertigo.

I highly recommend Dr. John Carey for any ear, nose, throat issues that are complex and cannot be routinely solved by a primary care or other ENT. He has excellent communication skills and is very knowledge. I always feel that I am getting the best care possible when I see him. Getting an appointment with him is difficult but if you can manage one then consider yourself very lucky.
