Dr. John Joseph Casey, MD

Dr Casey is a pompous jacka$$. He's abusive and has a god complex. My husband tried to explain why it had taken six months to finally see a surgeon for his issue and this "doctor" immediately responded with "no it doesn't take that long". Basically calling him a liar. Not even sure why it matters. (The original referral was to a surgeon who was not accepting new patients but it took months to find that out so he had to start the process over again with a new referral.) I was taken aback by his rudeness and said yes it really did take that long. Rather than listen and try to understand the situation he started arguing with us about it and then he said he didn't want to see my husband. He accused me of being angry. I wasn't angry when I got there in fact we were joking with the nurse right before he came into the room, but I definitely was angry by the time I left. I have never ever been spoken to so rudely by anyone let alone a "doctor ". This man has a huge chip on his shoulder. Glad… he isn't going to do my husband's surgery. Deserves zero stars.

This doctor took out two ligaments that held my shoulder together, then when I went to him after sugery to tell him how much pain I was in, he told me tale a motrin and walked out. I ended up with my shoulder completely apart and a reconstruction.

we waited five weeks for the privilege of being treated like garbage by the creep nurse and doctor at this practice. the nurse asked how our day was, but asked a second time, very insistently, before i had a chance to respond that it just hadn't been our best morning. she responded, "oh, that's good". ?!?!? the nurse proceeded to ask questions we had answered during the 30 minutes it took to fill out their new patient paperwork. she didn't listen to our answers to her questions, so kept asking over and over again. she has a terrible attitude towards patients and is a bully, but so is the doctor she works for. dr. john casey, the big bully, also asked questions, and interrupted every time we tried to respond. the reason people do that is they're not interested in the answer. that seems strange for a doctor with a new patient. he REFUSED to address why we were there, seeming to insist there was a joint problem which doesn't exist - we were there for a soft tissue concern. he simply… refused to hear what we were saying, he made condescending remarks about two other doctors he doesn't even know, who happen to be excellent, caring, and thorough doctors, and he was terse in insisting we need to have repeat tests already performed rather than obtaining or looking at those results which already exist. that isn't fair to patients with co-pays or to insurance companies. we left, and we will never go back, not only because of the disgraceful way we were treated and the incompetence in their communication skills, but because of this: (search "stanislaus orthopaedic kings pharmacy". no WONDER he didn't want to begin with conservative treatment and seemed to be desperate to prove the need for a big, expensive surgery. his attorneys need to be paid! don't go here.

Horrible and no kind patience when asked why the screws in our sons ankle broke after he cleared him to plAy football.. most sadly his tone of voice after he knew his surgery on my poor sons went bad...did not come in waiting room with an apologetic demeanor.. we seen his facial look when he looked at xrays and noticed that two screws were cometely broken in half.. did not even want to listen to my poor wife crying asking him why and how did this happen if he cleared.him.. when we asked if the screws were the correct size for his body weight or how does this happen out of the blue .... he imediatley as I told my wife he Will try every which way to turn against us and avoid dealing with fixing his mistake..in which he did exactly that... he turned to his nurse and said can she set us up wit someone else to remove screws and his exact words..I do not want to deal with these people ..all we wanted was answers and he kept saying in a rude way after wife mentioned that our sons goal was… to get a scholarahip for college...never ever ever heard of a doctor so negative and said it five times he will not get offered a scholarship with his ankle like that...I said you don't know my sons and what he gone thru and how dare him like if he was a recruiter to make my son feel worse than he already did ... I was shocked and kept asking him ..how does he.know... my son has survived the most pain any child can go thru with a bullet stilll Imbeaded in his forearm from a previous home invasion..I ask for this doctor be disciplined for his botched surgery and very rude comments directed toward my son and avoiding our concerned questioned .as a local business owner for over18 years in modesto I can truley say I'm disappointed with the actions and tone of voice ...as we speak looking for an attorney to take on our case and botched work from this person..

Ridiculous wait time. Staff rude and don't care. Dr. Casey overbooks and then rushes through so you feel like you're left hanging. All about the money apparently.
