Dr. Salman Syed Razi, MD

Front desk staff did not have my appointment on the schedule after waiting two months for this appointment. While waiting to get called into a room the front desk person argued with patients over the phone and also was talking loudly while saying patient information such as full name, birth date and address. Instead of asking patients for information to help her understand what the patient needs, she would rudely say "I don't know what procedure you are referring to". So sad. I work in the medical field in Leadership/Administration of clinic operations and I know that this is not good.

Worst urologist I've ever met in my entire existence, didnt do exam wasnt diligent super arrogant never gave me any answers, canceled my future appointment due to him not being in the office so he was on vacation and now he sent me a bill for $278.00 for a service that was never received.

I have been to his office twice, my initial visit and then a Cystoscopy. Dr. Razi was very kind and professional. His office was clean and comfortable. The only time I was uncomfortable was just prior to my procedure the nurse brought in a New-bee nurse / translator in training and then asked if it was ok with me if she watched. It was not ok with me. It was also not ok that my permission wasn't asked prior to her entering my room while I was unclothed awaiting this procedure. So I guess this staff gets 1 star and he gets the rest.

Dr. Razi took care of me for a few years. During that time, I had several emergency room visits, operations and proceedures. He was there for me when I was very sick and took excellent care of me. He has an excellent reputation in the medical field and has an excellent bedside manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Razi. Kidney stones are very painful and his caring manner was wonderful. He spent time with me explaining in detail what was going to be done and what would be next. His staff is top notch. Always a smile and always accommodating. My profession required much travel and all procedures were scheduled to accomodate that busy schedule. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Dr. Razi himself if a nice doctor but isn't very informative. Husband had to have surgery and i was only informed of it because I had to take the initiative to inquire about it. The staff I will say is courteous but when it comes to the billing and such obviously don't know how to process things and are not attentive to details. Our lab work was sent to some lab that was not a provider and resulted in us having to be responsible for the bill and mind you our contracted laboratories were located across the street and also another a few blocks away. Also, the diagnosis after the surgery was never really clarified.

Don't waste your time and money. This one will only steer you in circles that lead you and your insurance payment through his office over and over again. My hubby went in to be treated for zero sperm count. The doctor starts out by saying how the insurance doesn't really cover payment for treatment of zero sperm, and that he suggested waiting 30 days and retesting. (Cuz the 2 very recent zero sperm counts he had already seen weren't enough of a reason to move on with a recomendation for treatment.?) He suggested a sonogram, and a testosterone blood panel. Once we finally had called his office for the results enough times to the point where he finally called us back, he MISREAD the sonogram results to us- telling us they were normal, when they weren't, and told us the blood results had not come in. The next day, I called his office to get a copy of the results sent to us so I could check and see for myself. Dealing with his completely incompetent staff of undereducated, lazy,… underpaid medical receptionists is a herculean feat all in its own. After being told by "Yessenia" that a copy of my husbands own scrotol sonogram results would cost him $25.00, (just for the piece of paper), I had her fax them to my doctor who I knew would give me a copy for free. That was like pulling teeth. Three days of back and forth calling to see whether or not the results had been sent/faxed/received. A nightmare. Finally, when I got to see a copy of both the scrotol sonogram and the testosterone blood panel, the sonogram reported smaller then normal Testes, a common reality of men who have low testosterone levels... (Dr. Razi had told us it was normal over the phone.) And when I looked right over to the blood panel, it was clear that my husband had a very low testosterone level. Never once did anyone from his office think to call us regarding such abnormal results... Do yourself a favor- do not see this doctor.
